  When buying these pull up the MENU and select the System (GEARS) and then Information to read the Model Number, Software Version: , & Hardware Version: Note the date(s) many of these units are refurbished returns that have NOT had any upgrades and are still using 2015 or 2016 software and even older hardware.

  The problem I see is that the CD title and songs are not listed. It only says track number.

  You could have talked about putting in a Audio CD to record music into a MP3 format to a USB drive as stated from the manual on page 15.

  Did you try a different USB? Sometimes various devices are quirky as to the device they'll work with.

  These boxes from China are junk!! I tried to record Brooklyn nine nine. The count down countdown came up but it never recorded. So I tried to record Will and Grace. I got to the screen that comes up when you try to set a recording. I scroll down to the bottom and change view to record. The stupid machine from China refuses to allow you to continue. Needs to be away to force this to comply and record the show. About readily to contact the FCC about this China junk. .
