Hello and welcome to my KZread channel! My name is Simon and I am a UK based aviation photographer.
Over the last 10+ years I have been visiting the Welsh mountains to capture aircraft flying in the now world famous "Mach Loop". If I'm not up the hills I'm at airshows, events or even just my garden to get my aviation fix.
I'm happy to capture any kind of aviation, from general to military... prop to jet.

Yooo I saw that landing
This was a very difficult video to edit due to copyrighted music playing during the display. Thanks to a program I was able to split the audio tracks and try my best to remove it to avoid a strike. 😀

What a surprise, seeing a British Aerospace Hawk flying directly over your head. Isn't that interesting?

Look at them roaring through! Tonkas look great in the Mach Loop.
I once saw that you can fly in a Spitfire trainer ( 2 seater ) at a couple of British Air Museums for $4,000.00 dollars an hour. I would love to do it if I possibly could. I flew in a B 17 several years ago, not long enough time, always want more. Just look our and watch the ground go by, the ocean on the other. Standing at the waist gun position it is easy to do.
I'd love to do that too or fly along side one! Bet that B-17 flight was awesome. What an experience that would have been! 🤩

Amazing aircraft the PC-12
Keeping in mind the restrictions for classic jet displays here in the UK...... This was a beautifly flown display by Mark Hooton. 😀
I was watching it from Halfpenny Green that day
It's one of my favourite jets. Was really nice to see it using Halfpenny as it's base for the weekend.

Ilya rien à dire le MIRAGE 2000D et une bête de guerre.. surtout maintenant.. ( s'est toujours avec un grand plaisir de les voirs .. mardi et jeudi aux dessus de chez moi 😂 les z'ailes du haut doubs 😉
Very nice to see a gnat t1 in its former red arrow colours still flying, I also saw one of these at cosford on sunday, it was XR991 operated by yellowjack
I didn't expect to see one in Red Arrow colours, so it was a nice surprise! I must say though, I really like the yellowjack one!

A short but much welcomed display! I believe it's been four if not five years since we've had a Folland Gnat in the UK airshow circuit! 😀

Many thanks. I use a shoulder mount to help keep things steady. I also you stabilisation in editing too. 👍

@@chinneylowfly very nice and smooth footage, what software do you edit videos in, I use Lightworks and it doesn't have stabilisation 😖 Thanks in advance 👍
@planestrainswildlife it depends on the clip/footage as some software stabilises better than others in certain situations. So it's a mix of Sony Vegas, After effects and DaVinci Resolve. 👍

Ukrainians will have 2000-5 (air to air combat version), not 2000D (ground attack version)
😂 ce sont des MIRAGE 2000D ( version attaque aux sol ) rien à voir avec le MIRAGE 2000 - 5 F . Avion de chasse mission principale AIR / AIR ..les z'ailes du haut doubs 😉

@@chinneylowfly cheers mate, it was good, a bit slow as only a handful arrived and 1 validation from the Navy Wasp, but it wasn't a blank and it didn't rain 👍😂 looking forward to the show later 😁
I heard them both doing their warmup display yesterday evening from my home. I cannot wait to see them display at the airshow tomorrow!

@jameshardie9914 yeah, I spoke to the Jet Provost pilot and he said the Yak was suppose to be returning with him. It didn't though. It arrived about half an hour after I left.
@@chinneylowfly when I was there, Sunday, I saw both the provost and the yak departing together to the midlands airshow and then later the provost returned by itself, performed a mini display at Halfpenny Green then landed back at the fuel bay
