Did you see the kid in red sweater is hitting the one crying and mom is doing nothing. oh man...in the old days that kid would have gotten her ass whooped and sent to bed for the rest of the night;. At least then my siblings knew not to do that again. until about a week or so later when they forgot lol

LOL back in the old days, toys fought over thrown right in garbage and both of us got a good whooping with wooden spoon, no matter who started it...mama was gonna finish it lol. I can't tell you one thing, we rarely fought over toys knowing the outcome.

I will never understand why a mother cannot stop breastfeeding. Especially when it’s attached to THEIR body. You just keep it out of their mouth. When a mother says no, the answer is no. I can’t imagine letting my child call the shots. Not in my house.

I shudder to think what my parents response would have been if me or my siblings smacked one of them and screamed "I want some jelly beans" especially after request already been denied. I know for a fact my dad would not have just sat on the sofa if on of us did that to mom. They would have sorted us out very quickly and we wouldn't have made same mistake twice.

I think its difficult for an average blue collar man to have a son who behaves like that. This child is accustomed to acting this way to get his mommy to come baby him. I really didn’t think dad would have been inappropriate had he not let his anger take over. I did see an overly mollycoddled toddler who was having none of dad preparing him for bed overacting for attention with a dad who was likely from a background where this was sissy behavior.

At the end of this clip the older brother of the boys who never let their mother get a proper night's sleep appeared heartbroken. Mom immediately pacified and comforted him. Was that the correct thing for mom to do considering the point behind the lesson was not to give all the attention to the whiny child? The younger brother appeared to be over it already. Would that have been an opportunity for mom to get up from the sofa, taking little one with her and leave the older one to cry and maybe think about what just happened and why?
