Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it!
~~~John Lennon~~~~
Most of my stuff is shot from the crowd with party-goers drinking, dancing and talking all around me............It is live music after all!!!
BTW, If you wonder what happened to my Terrapin Crossroads videos; I was asked to take them down by the TXR Staff, so I did. However, I recently obtained permission to repost...
    In 1980, I traveled from LOS ANGELES to a small town in ARKANSAS,called SHERIDAN. All the way there, and back to L.A., BRIDGE OF SIGHS ALBUM is all I listened to. GOOD TO HAVE YOU STILL WITH US, ROBIN! I WAS 30 THEN, AND NOW 73. YOUR MUSIC STILL SOUNDS NEW TO ME!
    You could sell the wood the stage is made from for having so much talent on it at one time, unlikely to be exceeded. 🙏🏻 so glad to live in this time of music!!
    58 years old...in 1970 my oldest brother would play CCR, Neil Diamond and Allman Brothers...I was 5 years old and knew all the Allmans material up to that point..Gregg's voice has been a part of my life for over 50 years...
    One question folks? Why is hell likely to freeze over before Robin ever plays the song Jack and Jill Live again? It totally smokes all his songs... I just don't get it? Love the super heavy guitar licks that nearly mo one can replicate......
    When I lived out in San Jose California he had so many gigs at this little club we used to go to all the time called the cabaret. I know I saw him at least eight times within about a 3-year period.
    Holy shit Trower burns acid holes in my brain...hung out with him a couple times back in the day, he's sober as a judge, super fucken CHILL. After 50 years I still can't imagine how he hears/creates/plays that shit without the fuel that we all soak ourselves with before we see him. Please come see us in '24 Robin!!!
  • @benmeltzer
    Thank you for posting this broadcast. *Were these opening musician credits copied from a different souce?* Though they include Tex Johnson and Dave Mason, neither is in any of the video footage. Plus they omit Billy Preston, who is in the footage. Also the opening credts are absent from the same broadcast posted here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q2h4xNWHo66Zmrw.html The band seems to have changed the lineup for the Scandanavian tour. On these three songs broadcast from the December 3, 1969 show at Town Hall in Birmingham, Tex Johnson *is* present, but Billy Preston is *not* (nor is Harrison - perhaps he particpated in the show but bowed out of the three televised songs): kzread.info/head/PLMd7VpLPCOrAUKzt_kubpCDFCHzqx_fpm Dave Mason is absent from *both* broadcasts. *Can any one shed light on his absence?* Did he perhaps particpate just in the German and/or U.S. tours? Did Clapton replace him as lead guitarist entirely, so that he is not at any of the Clapton shows? Thanks.
    Shedders have technical stuff, but not the soul. Listen to the blues artists. They milk a note for all its worth. And Robin, like Jimi is blues based. Jimi probably would be more into fusion jazz and stretching it out into realms we couldn’t think of.
