Dear Fr. Fessio, Is there any chance that there is an aspect of hope that ascribes God's merciful will over the will of the errant sinner or the will of the unrepentant sinner? It concerns the belief, God can do all things except sin or remove the free will of mankind. In way the Franciscan's understand creation, that all of creation is created for God The Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ in contrast to the belief that the world is being given to Our Lord. Yet, isn't it possible that there is a both/and condition, that of all having been created for God The Son, which was then lost due to sin, and then, later given or returned to God The Son's dominion. How these precepts relate is the interpretation, that of the hope that all may be saved? All having been created for Our Lord, that is. We hope for the salvation of all because it is only for God to judge. Except for those who would will to remain in sin, would we dare to hope? Saints have given us this example, praying for the one standing on the gallows to have an instant conversion. In the prayers of St. Faustina, we pray for those who do not believe in God. I came to the conclusion that I need a firm grasp on chapter 1 to be able to understand future chapters. I read 1st chapter, was confused, listened to podcast - was a little less confused. Read chapter along with podcast while pausing/replaying and jotting notes/underlining. Definitely expanding my thought process. 🙏

One of the most effective and inspiring movies about Jesus and Mary. An example of what ART can do to bring us closer to Jesus and Mary. This movie has become one of my fav, and also the resemblance of the actor playing Jesus to the divine mercy image. It's amazing to me that Larry Chapp's Kindle book is as expensive as the issued edition. How can this be wise economically? As much as Id Iike to get it, I'd rather buy two other Kindle books than at this unusual Kindle price.

I read Larry's book. I thought it was excellent. Yes, at times it was a bit academic, but, for the most part, it was very down-to-earth and relevant to the times in which we live.
