  That scripture for cleaning house of demons always had me miffed - why then would they return when the house had been cleansed? Your explanation is worthy of contemplation and an emergence to fill the void with Christ. Blessings.

  What a comforting message. My day would not be complete if I didn’t read my Bible each morning. I use the NIV Life Application Bible which provides helpful commentary for difficult to understand passages. To further aide my bible study I also have a digital MacArthur Study Bible, plus Matthew Henry’s Commentary and the Believer’s Bible Commentary on Kindle. Of course I also pray for wisdom to live each day in a manner worthy of His calling on my life so my speech will be pleasing, my conduct acceptable and my thoughts pure. Plus I thank God for His ever faithful provision and protection.
