    Excellent demo! I liked your tips on painting trees, simplifying people and capturing the light and shadow. Also simplification of all the architectural details. The addition of blue on the road really tied it all together. Thanks for a great demo!

    What do you use to weigh down the tripod ? It seems to lacks a hook at the base of the head - Is your tripod 21 inches long when closed? Thanks- always inspiring info

    Hi, it will go to 36" I think. I don't usually weigh it down with anything, usually I'm sitting :)

    You could buy some cube magnets and place those near the hinge, so you don't need the piece of wood to hold up the tray anymore. Nice setup!

    there is an artist and YTer (Chelsea Lang) who has a video on how she uses removable Command hooks (on her Edge Easel) to attach metal 5x5" pieces of metal. She also explains how she got 40ish pieces at a metal shop. I love your studio!!! and can't beat the Rocky Mtns!

    I like the painting. If I had such a brush to paint plein-air I couldn't paint with sunlights because of the too shiningmetal creating reflections here and there. I don't know how you managed that
