    what song is this? is the progression created by the conductor or is it a known song?

  • @unknownd965

    It’s not really a song. It’s part of their warmup. This marching band which is called Carolina Crown, was warming up for the DCI Finals, and the really loud part you hear was a part of their show. If you want the show name though, it was called “Relentless”.

    This dissonance chord and the resolution chord at the end are pipe organ sound. Just impeccably well done…

    Is there a musical term for when the all play the dissonant notes and then switch the to chord?

  • @matthewjohnson9746
    @matthewjohnson97465 ай бұрын

    I don’t know if there is a term specifically for the resolution, but normally the dissonant chord would be called a cluster chord. So maybe a cluster chord resolution? Idk, an actual music major would need to comment.

    You warm up how you perform, if you don’t give your all in warmups how can you give your all in performances?

  • @hiimrezgaming9885
    @hiimrezgaming988510 ай бұрын

    @@shadowflamelightburst4503 Thats not true at all. A warmup is just to wake up your lips so that they are ready to be played. Ideally you should do some long notes in soft dynamic for 20 minutes a few hours before your performance, and then just play a bit right before the actual performance. Playing all in on warmups is not beneficial at all.
