One time riding in a car, it suddenly powered down. Nothing worked. This never happened before. It was an Eagle Vision TSI. We sat there about 10 minutes. Suddenly it worked again. Turned around to go home, but it was working fine. Went back the same way. In the same spot, the car powered down again. This was in the 1990s. The car again recovered and we went on our way. It never did it again. That’s the strangest thing that ever happened to me. We were next to dense shrubbery both times, same exact spot, so something could have been hidden there.

I don’t see how you can deny a global flood. That’s denying scriptures. If there was no such thing as a global flood, why would there be any need for an ark..? I disagree on that with Hugh. Noah could’ve just went to some other place on earth. I think the Bible is pretty clear that the world was completely flooded. “And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 1) Science - a) Any universe that has mass and is expanding on average, had a beginning. b) 100% of all observable evidence indicates the universe had a beginning. 2) Bible - In the beginning Elohim Created the Heavens and the Earth (all physical reality). The universe had a beginning. You will not find the word "universe" in the Old Testament. The Hebrew language did not have a word for that. Instead, a merism or a hendiadys is used. The “Universe” is expressed by 2 words ‐ “Heaven and Earth” That is the Big Bang. It was not Big nor was it a Bang. It's just a name. God Created from a flash of light all matter, space, time, and energy.

@@reasonforliving3174 this comment is dismissive. What you have to understand is you have a worldview formulated based on your interpretation of the Bible, not a worldview based on the Bible. Dr. Ross clearly lays out his hermeneutic approach for different passages from scripture and follows it with how his interpretation of scripture is frequently confirmed by scientific discoveries. As Christians we will have disagreements on application/interpretation of texts but what I believe scripture teaches is more important than being “right” is addressing fellow believers we disagree with in love. Let’s not let pride over secondary issues diminish the Grace we have received through Jesus and Gods Holy Spirit working in our lives.
