He's lucky that his last name is Zappa so that he can do this without paying heavy licensing fees.

Outstanding cover, so thankful Dweezil continues to slay these incredible covers of his dad. That tone is just ridiculous, and the two singers absolutely nail the vocals. Thanks for posting.

The legend lives! In those halcyon days Zappa concerts were the best of times. If only Frank would shut up and play the guitar. 😅

Frank Zappa was a musical genius. And his extensive group of musicians in his band over the years. Dweezil is following in his father's musical footsteps. He shreds that guitar.

Not even close to true. Frank might’ve been an amazing composer, but his guitar skills were nothing special. Dweezil does an awesome job replicating his fathers sound, maybe even a more talented guitarist. Frank admits in multiple interviews he wasn’t an amazing guitarist.

I’m now 80 and thru the years I’ve seen many performers ( won’t bore you with who) but South stands out as my all time favorite. Garden State Art Center, Club Bene’, The Pony, The Jersey Shore, too many to remember. NOBODY entertained like this guy. A NJ legend.

nice, I was afraid for a moment when it started all slow. I think it's hard to recreate the over-the-top-ness of the original recording/Mothers line-up, vocals especially. Glad they did the ZINY version after all. This must've been on the Ronda stage of Tivoli Vredenburg, went there last Nov to see Luis Cole.

How could we, Little Steven is a great composer. We saw him in concert, but there was too much band. A wall of sound, missing the dynamics of the Asbury Jukes. Still great to see though...

Another great thing about Little Steven that he is very supportive of his friends, as far as i can see. There is a video somewhere that he invited Peter Wolf on stage, of the mighty J. Geils Band. He rehearsed the JGB song Freeze Frame with his band, fabulous.
