Ok found it in one of my previous replies in the comments the OEM piece of plastic interior diameter is 60mm. The replacement boost pipe I got I think was 64mm but the OEM clamps clamped it down to seal it nicely so if you going to get a boost pipe 60mm diameter is best but know that a 64mm one worked.
The oem plastic pipe inner diameter is 60mm the replacement boost pipe I got is a 64mm piece but it still clamped down using the clamps that was on there and is still working good.

So you took sprockets off before removing tensioner
No the tensioner comes out before you loosen the sprockets if you cN lock the cams. But if you dont have the locking tool for the cams you can use the crank pulley and hold that and loosen the cam gears, if its not slipping the chain too much But you run the risk of turning too much and hurting valves

Oh my I would not know but if you can get a good electrical connection you can custom a more universal adaptor to fit any speakers.

PO491/P2187 The mixture of cylinder 1 is too lean. Don't know where to start cause it states many possibilities, where can I start? Can it be a mad sensor
Lean mixture on just one cylinder can mist likely be a faulty or blocked injector if all the others are ok leads me to believe it's fuel related in that cylinder could be a spark plug but then it would be rich with less spark.

Curious, where do you source the gears, chain and guides?
The chain I get from Masterparts its a Febi chain and tensioner. The gears I got a few years ago from a local mechanic he machines stronger CAM gears I still have my stock guides after replacing my head we saw the guides were still ok so kept them in. I just replaced that top chain guide above the cam gears.

@YusufPetersenCPT I was just driving and then smoke come out from the alternator ,b4 that we fix the junction cable fuse by bridging it with the terminal cable
Ooofff thats your problem right there, you may have shorted out the alternator.. it will then have to be replaced and the bridged wire must be sorted out back to stock it could be going against the current and or not limiting current so it over produces and the wires can't deal.

It was just the right front side that was making the noise so I just changed that sides one.

It could technically be free, they charge around R1000 to cut out and replace with a stainless piece of pipe. But most places will buy the cat from you for more than that so find out by the place how much they will pay you for it. If they don't want to, get the job done keep the cat and sell it to a buyer.

My w204 c200 has a very very rough start & idle....please can to advise on some of the potential issues 😰🥺
Hey there if all else is normal that you know of and you have the same m271 engine it could be a couple things. 1 the timing chain is stretching and on start it's slapping around and idle will be rough. 2 you have that common idle air pipe leak under the intake manifold. And 3 worn engine mounts or a combo of these things. It should start farely smooth and idle smooth if everything is in order.

Does this noise appear after you drive a car for a while, and goes away when the car is parked for a day? My mechanic replaced my lower control arms and took my $800 without fixing the noise.
Oh wow this one is pretty weird, no the sound is pretty consistant whenever the car is moving and there is suspension movement thats how I picked up it could be that and when the steering is turned a little or while it's turning the sounds a little more or a little less and when you hitting smooth bumps maybe nothing. But a rutty road you hear it good. You cN have you suspension checked at the local service shops if they offer it.
@@YusufPetersenCPT thank you for your answer. The noise is consistent once I drive the car for 20 minutes, and I can hear it on bad road but not when I go over a bump. I think I have the same problem that you had. You’re the only person who showed me the part and the exact noise, so thank you very much

No i did not the drop link mounting poit does not change its still in the same spot so just replaced with the stock links i did however have to replace my links a couple months ago so they lasted since then thats about 3 years i could have put in shorter links but i like they way it handles now with the stock link length

I did a couple of them on an aftermarket ecu with na tune and charged tune. Very nice, those engines are strong. One i did boosted to 1.2bar with 3 head bolts broken and runs like a dream.
Oh wow hectic i do think the engine other than the known weakness of the timing chain and gears is a solid engine nice and strong can imagine hoe nicely they are going good job!
