This song was written by bassist Miho. She said in an interview: "This doesn't appear in the lyrics, but it's 'Most Destructive Outsight'. The theme of the lyrics was inspired by the revival of Tezuka Osamu's 'Phoenix'. What you see and what is right can change, what is actually beautiful can look dirty to you, and what is not can look good to you. It's a song that sings about how what you see is not the only truth."

Thanks for your reaction, yeah they deserve more popularity than now. It's criminal to have existing band like Lovebites to be not known like Metallica, Megadeath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden. They easily can smoke most of the bands who play this days. If you didn't react to the Lovebites cover of Judas Priest song Painkiller i recommended. There you gonna see what I'm talking about.

LOVEBITES - M.D.O. lyrics: After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Burning me to sin Is this salvation? Deceive those who are seeking truth Believe only the justice in you Naive thinking will lead to doom Betrayals don’t ever come from your enemies M.D.O. After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Turning me to rust Is this damnation? So free, blinded by ugly truth Agree only to your point of view Defeat bigotry and its rules Don’t trust what you see, but believe your enemies M.D.O. Lovebites are the Metal Queens 👑. I'd love to see Halford from Priest or Dickinson, Harris, Murray, Smith from Maiden react to them or better yet have Lovebites open for either to garner more exposure to metal fans, especially in the States. Keep rockin' more Lovebites 🤘

LOVEBITES new live LP (DVD/Blu-ray/CD) and also a new EP both will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain new songs and also a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ for a limited edition. „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 live versions of songs from the „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“. And of course also the pre-releases „Rising“ and „We are the resurrection“, which was the opening track for this show.

They met Priest and Maiden years ago when they played the same festival I think(?). There's pics of Halford w/Miho (former bassist) and Miyako maybe holding up Lovebites CD to help promote it. There's a pic of Miho with her idol Harris. Seen Priest and Maiden 2x, my honest personal opinion, Lovebites is those bands and so much more. I equate them to all the great 80s metal bands combined - on steroids. That's how F great they are, sadly many metalheads have never heard of them. They should be headlining like Priest / Maiden but realistically opening for either would be one of the best things to happen to them. More exposure to a huge fan base. Great song, classic. 🤘

I'd love to have Lovebites open for Judas Priest or Iron Maiden. I saw an interview where Midori is asked who'd they like to tour with and she said Judas Priest. It would give them the exposure they deserve.

Miyako's guitar would be a reissue of a '57 Future. Midori is playing an E-II Horizon (ESP). She always plays ESPs, although she did just buy a Gibson SG. Miyako is pretty much Dean but she owns a lot of Gibsons, a new PRS, couple G&Ls, and some S7Gs.

This particular song and performance has A LOT of meaning. This was the first live concert they played since Miho left the band, and them coming off hiatus. That's the "We Are Baaaack" from Asami. This was also the first song Fami ever played in a band in concert in front of a live audience, and playing metal no less, something she wasn't known for from her own channel. This song IS the introduction to Lovebites 2.0. Great reaction, and Lovebites to me are #1 over any band I have ever heard since I first heard Led Zeppelin in 1970 when I was 10.
