A warm Welcome to BrightSide Studio // Susanne ♡
When I make my Graph Style patterns I use Wunderfold.art, thank you Brian for this amazing software.
For my PhotoStrip patterns I use my own template made in Numbers + I also use a software program that my brother-in-law developed for me.

Do you use a stand when you create the clock insert design?
@@lorribeacandlessoaps2780 Here’s how I insert the clock mechanism and I don’t use my stand for that. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGmcx5J-cavgeMo.htmlsi=3OEDubTA1zCGBzZY
How do you know how far down to cut off the page at the spine?
Fint mönsterpapper😻
Which is the name of your group? I would like to take part of it! Thanks!
@@giuliafavaccio2116 That’s so nice of you. Here’s the link for it: facebook.com/share/tnDEcoU4CyTM4RXB/?mibextid=K35XfP If the link doesn’t work it’s BookFolding & BookArt // BrightSide Studio ♡
Another fantastic creation by Brightside Studio... Thank you Susanne for sharing your wonderful ideas.
Beautiful 😽😽😽😽
Helt fantastisk!!
So clever ❤
@@mariebrady7660 Thank you kindly 🙏♥️
Where did you get the book holder from?
@@trishapm8874 My husband made it many years ago. We do sell the 3D printed bits/arms but not the base, dowels, screws and nuts. All those parts get too expensive to ship from Sweden and can be found in any hardware store all over the world ☺️
What IS it? No idea what you made.
@@adventureswithfabric6710 It’s a new way of salvaging old books that are destined for the bin. The particular tutorial you “watched” is called fore-edge book art. It’s art!
I understand that it’s art, but the picture of the finished piece went by so fast I couldn’t tell what it looked like. I suppose I could slow down the video …@@BrightSideStudioBookArt
I did slow it down and have NO idea what it looks like. Are you able to post a picture from different angles. I’m not trying to be negative, I’m just really curious. Thanks
@@adventureswithfabric6710 I only have one photo of the finished book and posted it on my Community here so you can have a look. It was around a year ago I crafted this book and I don’t have it anymore, so I can’t take any new photos of it I’m afraid.
Abetter question would have been "Can you explain what it is you are making", the way you have phrased it is showing your ignorance towards other people and their crafts and really not wanting to know what it really is.
May I ask what brand scissors are you using? Beautiful work.
Thank you kindly, it’s a Fiskars Easy Action Softgrip® Micro-Tip scissors. In my opinion, the best one there is ☺️
How do to find such a tall photo to work with?
Where do I purchse the combi ruler
What a great idea! Not a cut in sight!
That's a great method for colouring in! Thank you
Hoping to make one of these on day. Thank you.
So beautiful, I love making these but I only do black and white because colour is so expensive.
Do you sell your patterns? These are awesome!
I love your tutorials! One thing I have noticed about my print outs is the numbers do not come to the top of page but to the side. I can’t figure out why they are printing as such! Thank you for such excellent, visual tutorials! Enjoy your day from…deep in the heart of Houston Texas!!
@@carolehatter5394 Thank you for your kind words and for watching my tutorials, it means a lot. Where the numbers are on the pattern depends on what program they are made in and how the pattern maker made the patterns. I actually prefer them on the side myself, it makes it easier since I cut the top and bottom off before I attach the strips. Best regards from Sweden.
Hi, do you sell your patterns? I am interested in that Harry Potter one.
Hi, I do sell my patterns yes but this Harry Potter one isn’t mine. As stated in the video the pattern maker is Jacqui Hendle, you need to reach out to her on Facebook.
Oh I'm so sorry. I must have missed that. Thank you for the quick reply.
@@karena2012 No worries at all, send me an email to [email protected] if you can’t find her and I will send you her email there ☺️
Could you please tell me what size paper this pattern was printed on?
Normal printer paper, A4 ☺️
I love this concept!!!
Can you add the caption please?
Since I don’t speak in any of my videos there’s no caption either, I only write text in a few of them to explain what I do - In most of my videos I just show how I craft.
So to clairify in my own head; front edge, then angled edge and last is top edge. Is that right?
There’s no right or wrong, you can craft it however you prefer. But I found it the easiest to craft it that way yes, front edge first, then the angled edge and the top at last.
Beautiful!! Thank you!! ☺️
Espectacular!! De donde coges las imágenes?
Brilliant!
OMG!!amazing
I'd love to buy this pattern!
Beautiful xxxx
Perfect :-)
Thank you so much how much do you scorebook edges Down please
Beautiful craftmanship. I'm glad I purchased this tool and pattern...looking forward to many more from you. 🥰
Wonderfull! 👍👏
Vous coupez et plier a combien, vous laissez une page entre les deux , pour le noir vous faites comment
I don’t cut anything in this book, only mark and colour the tabs that I would normally cut and fold.
Bonjour, félicitation pour tous vos ouvrages, comment faut-il faire pour commander depuis la France ? Comment faire parti de votre groupe Facebook car cela ne fonctionne pas ? Cordialement
Do you color were you would have folded the paper
Yes, exactly ☺️ I colour instead of cutting and folding.
I went to Wunderfold, but didn't know what type of pattern I need to make this type of color pattern. Cut and fold, embossed, two tone, please help.
This is a Two-Tone Shadow ☺️
Oh My Goodness, another new way for me to try - Thank you so much for showing how to do this. - Is this done using a cut and fold graph pattern?
In this video I use a Two-tone Graph pattern but you can use this method for any C&F 😊
So very very neat
È da un anno che uso questo metodo è più sbrigativo 👏👏👏👍
I haven’t seen it before, only coloured inverted and embossed folds, never on the 180° edge like this. But I’ve been told that this was done by a lady 4 years ago as well so it’s not a new method as I first thought 😊
Love this video. I can't wait to try this!
Thank you kindly, it makes me so happy that I can inspire ☺️
@@BrightSideStudioBookArt is this pattern available for sale
@@cyndivelmer8724 Yes, please send me an email to: [email protected] or join my Facebook group: facebook.com/share/6zpMg7CjsAxZPeVL/?mibextid=K35XfP
Love this video! Thank you!💝
Where can I get this book holder?
Wow! Absolutely Stunning! 💖💖Oh no, now I must do the thing😁 What key word would I ask for to get a pattern?
Thank you so much ☺️♥️ This is a Two-Tone Shadow Cut&Fold pattern.
Is that a guitar pick? Where can we purchase this image?
Sorry for the late reply, it’s a guitar pick yes and I’ll email you details about the pattern.
If you’re interested in the pattern can you please send me an email to: [email protected] I didn’t get your email information as I thought from KZread.
Beautiful! Great idea and execution! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you kindly ☺️
I never know we can do this to a book. Pretty awesome.
Thank you kindly ☺️
Will now need to find my triangle. Love this video
Thank you kindly ☺️
Woww.. Thank you fr sharing. I thought this wouldn't be possible and is possible
Most welcome, I’m glad you liked the video. The clock books are so much fun to craft and the outcome is fantastic.
Thank you
Where can I get the tools you use? The scoring rulers, stand and the plastic attachment for the cutting mat? 😊
All the tools I use we make ourselves, I have some images in my Facebook group: facebook.com/share/GWifgsz241kLRk8S/?mibextid=K35XfP , feel free to join or pop me a mail: [email protected]
