  The boost should be more so apply the pellet Black smoke goes into the engine through the EGR valve As a result the engine seems weak So shoot off

  I did this to 06 forester with 4eat, and no need to take the bearing pretensioner off, just pry the oil seal off and press in a new, there is no resess or lip or anything there, just heads up for anyone with similar setup

  Thanks for the video. I researched for several several days online and on KZread for videos to show if there was a way to clean the PVC valve on this Mini Cooper valve cover model. This video is the closest I've found. There is another valve cover in the same families of Mini Coopers 07-12 where the PVC valve sits in the outside and one can replace the membrane without the need to purchase a new valve cover. This specific valve cover in the video OEM cost is $450+tax. If there would be a way to clean the interior flow path from carbon buildup, and change the PVC membrane, it would be great and would save $450+tax. Per what you showed in the video, you washed the cover with high spray water, but I didn't see you clean the path, except for moving the top part, and washing it with water, and then regluing it, which is actually a very good idea. But the flow path might still contain carbon deposits and/or the PVC membrane might be damaged, but it is difficult to ascertain if it truly is since it is impossible to see inside the path. It might just be that this particular model valve cover requires purchasing a new one every time the PVC valve goes bad, or carbon deposits block the flow path.
