Skip and get RC F. As an owner, i'm saying it because the car chassis cannot handle this V8. Lexus skimped big time on the chassis engineering and reinforcement for the 2UR. There's no engine bracing, no bumper redesign, nothing. The sag happens and you will feel sad. Only fix is a community one, Lexus TSB ruins bumpers further. The top speed is lower than a damn Acura TLX Type S, IS 500 tops at 150, Acura is 155 that's a V6 Turbo having more than a V8 that too 2UR, its a shame. Lexus capped it because the subframe cannot take. Period. And a community bumper fix for a 72K car (with 3.5K tax added) is NOT acceptable. Lexus is milking the brand now, they axed a ton from the RC F. Gutted it badly. They do not even care about a real F car. Forget this.

It's really ghetto when you see it in person. Just cheap-looking. Tacky, plastic grille cover, thin metal panels that don't flush, and cheap paint that loses gloss quickly, and ioverall just a dumb design. No use as a truck, too big to be a daily driver, no range for travel. It's for people with low self-esteem who want to be seen driving the newest thing, but it's obvious to everyone else that it's a hunk of junk. I literalky laughed out loud when I saw one in person. It's comically bad, like... 6000SUX from Robocop bad.

If anyone here is a whiz-bang electronics engineer with heavy design skills and a desire to invent, I urge you to consider coming up with a means to bypass the touchscreen with a kit that features physical controls or, at the very least buttons, buttons with a tactile feel and shape that tells your fingers what each button does, in ways that do not require LOOKING AT the buttons. If you can come up with a programmable tactile button interface like that, I think you would make bazillions because for a good many people, twenty years from now, getting a dead vehicle to come back to life without needing a replacement touchscreen would be like giving their ageing cars and trucks a new lease on life. And yes, it CAN be DONE because devices like that already exist in the computing world. I give you "The Streamdeck". Just replace those square buttons with different shapes for each category and you're well on your way to restoring a tactile interface to a touchscreen vehicle.

As a professional driver who's required to run headlights at all times having to do this every time I get into a vehicle would drive me nuts plus if the screen died I wouldn't be able to work until it got fixed. And as the truck ages these screens will die and being a proprietary part will not be cost effective to replace 😯 definitely not a vehicle I'll be buying.

It's transmission is better than ZF8. It shifts at 1 ms in manual mode when it's properly warmed up

At one point while talking about the door you say that the lower section has soft-touch plastics, but the you touch it it sounds like anything but soft (unless you hit it particularly hard, soft-touch plastics wouldn't make a sound. Hard plastics would).

Believe it or you're one of the first channels that I have encountered (and I have watched MANY) that gets that Ultium is a platform, not a particular vehicle (whether or not those other channels were being deliberately dense is another matter entirely). Which is to say, you can have multiple vehicles based on the platform, which doesn't mean that they're all the SAME vehicles.
