haha I love how the frog turned out. Your microwave kiln I have heard of folks who use those to melt glass in a type of microwave kiln, is it the same type or do they make different kilns for different projects ?
Ya it's the same! 😊I have never tried it but thinking I might soon
That was super cute I love the frogs face , I cant wait to see it done and glazed.
Yes it turned out just fabulous
As an amazon affiliate I may receive a commission at no cost to you amzn.to/4cQYMzX
I wish I watched your video before I used my microwave kiln. I've just melted the middle bit that turns the turntable. I will have to buy a new microwave now and use broken terracotta to place my kiln on.
look on fb market place before buying a new one you can find deals in your area
awesome! iam considering those are temp resistent tungsten wires on the popsicles? can they be used in the microwave kiln without harming the microwave?
yes they work great but not the round ones I have they will melt
What is the measurement of your kiln?
it’s the large kiln, there is only a small and large so if the listing says medium it’s not true it’s a large. I have a link in this video with the exact kiln I got
I planted a garden. Dog ate it. I began to make miniature coffee mugs. Dog ate them. I love my stoopid doc, really I do, but c'mon!
haha oh boy too funny what kind of dog is it?
Beautiful
Wonderful
Awesome!
Thanks!

@@Angelacreatesart 😊
Cool
Thank you
This was awesome and so helpful. I’m trying to decide if I want to try a microwave kiln. Can you tell me if you hollowed out your figurines?
you can hollow out or make it solid
🤗💖
Are those hats or horns?
horns lol but hats😂
I love them they’re so cute!!!!
thanks a bunch!
Thank you! One question...am I wrong, or do a lot of other people in the videos just use high heat to begin with? I. don't recall seeing another video using slow, mediium and high heat. Was I just not paying attention or did the others have good luck with no cracks? Keep on having fun making those fun little guys! I can hardly wait.
yes I since have learned from doing this for awhile that all the increments is not needed and I will be doing a video on that shortly to share what I do know now,it’s definitely a learning process lol
Actually most are not needed
did you paint with acrylics or water colors?
Watercolors and then put a wax protective coating on it after it was dry I applied dorlands wax and I have a link in the description of video if you want that
Looks like gouache.
@user-do7bj5cr3w nope it's water color 😁
I love what you created, but I have a question about the metal on a few of your pieces. How can you microwave the metal with your pieces? Doesn't metal cause sparks/fire in a microwave?
I have a link in the video for heat resistant wire, the metal jumps you see in this video was added after I finished firing the pieces and I forgot to film that part
AMAZINGGG😊
Soooo cute ❤❤❤❤
Hey thanks!
I made two identical bat pinch pots not too long ago in art class. I kept one, and gave the other one to my friend, I'm really proud or them tho, they have little wings and devil tails as handles
I love pinch pots ,I hope to perfect them some day 😏
I would gladly be friends with you❤ (And steal all your art bc of how awesome it is)
😮🫢🤣
So are you doing an underglaze and then clear glaze on top for the final pieces?
no I use Mayco stroke n coat
Thanks for this it’s very interesting and your items are super cute!
Glad you like them!
Grrrr I was like I have not seen an "Angela Creates" video in a bit , apparently KZread wasn't showing them to me 😠. But now im watching them and getting cool art ideas again YAY!!!!
Well that algorithm lol also I have been in a funk lately due to the lil ole mans passing
That's a beautiful tribute. And condolences from the HuntingRocks family ❤🩹
Thank you I'm having a pretty rough go of it
Is your gold marker also alcohol ink?
No it is a brand called deco gold
@@Angelacreatesart thank you
You welcome
This is so very neat
Thank you 😁
lovely lil creature
Thank you! 😊
Love the style of your pottery! Thyanks for the video. :)
your welcome 😀 and thank you
Hi I really want to try this out! I was just wondering what kind of clay did you use for this?
white earthenware ,I have a link in the description of this video to purchase some.
Thank you for the tip 👍👍
No problem 👍
Nice
Thanks a bunch!
Hi. I came across your video coz i was exactly searching for this. But i don't get white air dry clay near me. So how do i paint watercolor while having the base as white?
I'm not understanding, what type of air dry clay are you using? Brand and color please so I can further help you
@@Angelacreatesart for eg DAS air dry clay is grey and not white.
i think it may be hard to paint with watercolor since your air dry clay is dark, you could always buy some jelly gouache featured in some of my videos and use that because the gouache looks great also
What types of clay and glazed would you suggest using? Thanks for the video!
I have links in the description of video for items I used ,hope you have fun!
😂 Love it! 😂
Thank you
Could you share what program you are using? That is awesome! ☀️🌞☀️
Yes I use procreate for iPad but if you have and android there's an awesome program called Autodesk sketchbook that's what I first started on,it's free and you can get it on both types of devices
@@Angelacreatesart Thank you so much! 😊
Its been so long since I have gone there, you are the second video today I have seen with city museum lol
Microwave kilns are AWSOME , I made one, one time for doing science stuff, its amazing how much heat a microwave can make, I used mine for melting rocks.
You made one? I been looking into doing it for a video
