NightFlyyer

Instead of re-inventing the wheel, let's look back & try to improve the original designs, history too! It'd be more productive.
If you search my channel for whatever you have a question about, I'm sure you will find something to help you, though. This includes Military History, RC History, RC MULTI ROTORS, Helicopters, Test stands, Jets, Catapults, Single rotor bladed helicopters, NoTar Helicopters, Night FLYING, Gas, Gliders, Flying Rags, and my 9 Helicopter rules. Please enjoy and hopefully you find the answer to your questions in a video.

Great footage dave! I recently scored some new old stock kyosho heli parts that came into my local hobby shop, and among the parts that came in was a Kobe Kiko tail bellcrank. These days brands like Kalt, GMP, Heim, Kavan, Kobe Kiko, Schluter, etc. are few and far between. there are far more raptors and shuttles out there. I love seeing footage from this era of the hobby, my Dad recently posted his old footage as well. He got started with RC in the early 80s and started with helicopters, and in Barrow, AK no less. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ophptMR6gNa3nLg.html He also posted his crash compilation kzread.info/dash/bejne/c3aEo9Ctmtu-l7Q.html

Does anyone remember this? One Christmas morning in the early sixties, I received a Cox WW2 fighter plane which came with a pylon that got anchored to the ground in the center of the flying circle. It had a up/ down joystick that was outside the circle where you controlled the flight. I don’t remember the mechanics of it but it certainly worked. My Dad laid sheets of plywood down for a runway and you could take off and land pretty easily. I have never seen reference to it anywhere. Thoughts?

Great drone footage Dave and that large puddle made for a perfect floats plane landing strip. Not sure if your radio will like the rain as they are not water proof. Hopefully the Mini 4 Pro has better water sealing than the Parrot Bebop 2 drone which I had years ago and after flying in very light drizzle it lasted for about 6 months then fell out of the sky. Had corrosion on the mainboard.

  • @NightFlyyer

Thanks much. I had other drones, inclucing my Yuneeq Q500, but this one is the only one I can fly in the rain. I sprayed the whole thing with TriNova stain guard and it beads water everywhere. Also when the blades are spinning, I noticed no rain getting on vents etc, so I surprised myself. Thanks and happy flying.

Many ghosts. Poltergeist and spirits on this highway I know because I've experienced it on many occasions but only when it's dark. My experiences from 1979 through 1996. Almost crashed more than a few times because of the shocks of paranormal activity bad enough to affect driving. So I never went back there again after 1996.

Hi Dave, thanks for your video but to correct you on one point: the equipment you described at the beginning was an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanner not a CAT scanner. I am a retired healthcare scientist who worked in radiation therapy for over 30 years. I currently have stage 3 prostate cancer. I live in the UK. As part of my diagnosis I had a nuclear medicine bone scan, a CAT scan and an MRI scan (in that order). The bone scan checked for spread to the bones (no conclusive evidence). The CAT scan checked for spread to the seminal area (some suggestion of spread). The two scans involve the use of ionising radiation. The MRI scan produced a scan of the prostate (showing two masses). This scan involves no radiation but utilises strong magnetic fields to produce an image (and is very noisy). Finally, I had the prostate biopsy. At this point my PSA was 65.9. All these procedures enabled a calculation of the Gleason score and staging. At that point I started hormone therapy. I am still waiting to undergo radiation therapy. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Best wishes.
