    Hey before or after did you re enforce the frame at all? Can you show the mounts you added ?? Sitting here saw on hand 😝 thanks in advance!!

  • @RJTickler
    @RJTickler20 күн бұрын

    Fully wrapped frame with convertible mounts added. They are in the middle of the floor pan. They come factory on the convertible frames that way. Plus the rocker panels have been reinforced with steel rectangle tubing the full length. I set it inside the rocker while I was re doing the floors so you can’t see it.

    @@RJTickler appreciate it man! Tbh I I don’t think wrapping mines is an option for a while… the itch to cut the roof off is driving me crazy! I have a 4 dr daily right now and have gather what I think is all parts to do a 2dr conv. Minus the roof. You think mounts and beefing up the rockers would be ok for a weekend cruiser?

    Well it's similar to the limit straps we used in our four-wheel drives, so it did not overextend the shocks, similar situation here so it does not overload or overextend the hydraulics it's a very useful and very smart safety item

    When using a 97 rearend on a 96 does there need to be any changes to break lines or calipers? Am I good to just drop the 96 rearend & put the 97 in?

    If you have tall enough cylinders in a town car you don’t need chains, and can do a standing 3 with just 2 pumps and 6 batts. The homie has a 96 and a crazy high lock up, no chains, as soon as he dumps one of those back corners, ass hits the floor and he’s standing a huge 3 wheel.
