There is one major flaw with this display… It is NOT in my yard!!! LOL. SERIOUSLY, This is AMAZING! I have wanted to do a Pirate Theme for a couple of years and been thinking about how to do it. This is how it is supposed to be done. How long did it take to construct and setup this display? How long to program the lighting and sound? Did you use LOR exclusively or mixed systems? What components did you use? What animatronics did you use? Off the self or DIY. If you had it do all over again what you change. Is this or something like it what you do for a living? Thanks for sharing!

I never ask those kind of questions, but the foam was $23 each x 20 boards and the 2x3 were $4.50 x 15 and scrap for everything else, and LOTS of expandfoam

How did you do the eye and mouth at the same time? I had to make the eye move with a fish string pulled by an exrernal motor, or ill try using the motion of a wing that pulls the string.

The motor that runs the mouth also runs the eyes, reverse the voltage on the mouth motor and it will blink the eyes, I used two relays for this to swap the +/- to the motor, Blue/Purple wires from the main circuit board.
