    hello Elizabeth, it's Kathleen from VRA 🤗 so true about the animals! I have had only ones I have rescued, including horses, donkeys, cats, and dogs - what they have taught me through the years - the kindness, the calmness, and unconditional love is unparallel to anything else I've ever experienced on the earth ☮️ not to exclude all the animals on the acreage and all the land around us, hundreds and hundreds of acres, including all types of birds and the squirrels and rabbits and deer and turkey. It's just very peaceful and finally after many years of 1 foot out the door everywhere I've ever ever been- a place to call home here on earth 🙏 Will definitely take a look into what you mentioned below to help with those periods of rest that are required for multiple reasons I won't even go into here not just what's going on in the world, family health issues, etc. . Thank you so much for what you do and I'm glad I finally came to check out your channel and subscribed. Be blessed! 🤗💕🙏

    @@createpeace Elizabeth, I read about the journey you stated from 2018 and your loss and I haven't gone through that yet but many near misses since 2021- back-and-forth between the ICUs etc. I think that I found this for a reason because I can't imagine my life without my mom (who really understands me more than anyone on this planet and has always been my really only true support system). I might be able to be here without her, but I don't want to. Her recent tests, Feb stroke and then April bypass surgery has taken its toll and I'm trying to come to the acceptance that she will probably pass before me 😥 I would not know how to live without her and since really the past decade, it has been a struggle with her illnesses and disease processes. I'm not afraid to die, I never have been. A few years back, I actually found joy and peace for about a year and then I lost it again. I'm saying all this to try to explain number one, where I am at, and maybe it will help others as well, knowing that there are other people out there that can help us with this particular circumstance. I have helped so many through the years, especially the last 30 years, but helping myself seems to be the most difficult. I always say when she goes there's no other reason to be here or she's the only reason I am still here. I'm not suicidal because I've seen the results of that being an RN of 30 years and also working mental health, etc. and for other reasons! But I feel like it would be miserable to be here without her, so I'm hoping that I was guided here for a reason- then when I read your story that was a confirmation!!! 🤗 I probably have never had true rest due to child and teenager abuse, etc. - and all the things that go with that. but now I'm 63. I feel like it's a time for healing. I'm not new to being healed or healing others, but this particular situation and what's coming is very difficult for me. I will watch what you sent above and will look more into your program if you feel after reading this, that's the program that would benefit me the most OR if you had another program that would benefit me more. Thank you, Elizabeth! 🤗💕🙏

    @@RxHolisticNurseKathleen Navigating meditation and rest with trauma can indeed be challenging. The brain often wants to be busy to avoid looping into the places and spaces where seeds of trauma may be. So, it's understandable if true rest feels elusive. However, there are numerous pathways to rest, to sinking into peaceful, loving spaces - spaces that you and your mom both share, and in the future when you may share these spaces from different dimensions. If you're interested, I suggest exploring my how2rest.com course. You can use the coupon code RESTWELL for a 50% discount.

    @@createpeace The journaling technique itself was interesting. The entire video though, the reason for journaling the now, the explanation of what it does for the mind, body, and self. You gave examples "temperature in home, sensations feeling in your body, etc." You gave questions to begin journaling in this way. This whole video is everything one needs to pick up a new technique. I feel like you understand the who could use this technique the most. I also enjoyed hearing about someone else's piece about the present moment. It was key to me that it had no analysis, meaning seeking, nor judgment. Reconnecting to myself in the present moment and then connecting with someone else is something that I've just started doing via a group. Now, I do have a question about why you do not suggest people to journal about the past. I think it's because doing so keeps us in the past, keeps us from realizing the present is (probably, hopefully) safer (if it is safer). But what is your take?

  • @createpeace
    @createpeace5 ай бұрын

    @@ericlewis6404 Thank you, Eric, for your insightful feedback, for sharing what you found valuable in this video. Understanding what resonates with viewers helps me create impactful content. Regarding writing about the past, while it can be essential for self-reflection and self-knowledge, I prefer not to start with problems. Maybe I could have better delineated the difference between writing about one’s past and writing about one’s problems. I believe in letting individuals choose their own narrative. It's important to approach the past in a way that honors it without re-traumatizing oneself. I've encountered cases where mental health professionals wanted to impose writing topics on their clients, but I believe in a more supportive and empowering approach. There is a way to write about the past that honors our roots. There is a way of writing in which the past becomes groundwork for our future. There is a way to write and tell our stories that uplifts and serves one’s own peaceful heart and creative aspirations. There is a way to write so that we touch into the web of life and connect to all our relations. This is the understanding I hope to inspire. Not to write about the past just to dredge up the past or supposedly “heal” unhealed areas, but to unearth in a loving way the gems that are in our stories of old. Your question is inspiring in me the idea of creating a video dedicated to this important topic. Thank you, again.

    @@createpeace I’ve been thinking about your reply and meaning to respond. I actually did a journaling that was amazing. I have this core belief that I don’t deserve (good) things. I did a journal entry that encouraged me to list out all of the good things that are currently in my life **which I never question whether I deserve or if I’m good enough for** My list was random, anything went on, no judgments! Sweet red bell peppers, being warm, TV shows, etc etc. I easily made 3 pages of good things. I realized that when it comes to the things that are very impactful on the quality of my life, that thinking comes up. It’s what I felt growing up but I finally saw that it was an illusion. “I deserve” a career that’ll take care of my family as much as “I deserve” to eat sweet red bell peppers. Wondering whether I am good enough or not is the illusion, is the lie. Apologies, I went on a tangent. I’ll comment again.
