The only thing I can say about this movie is that the title means "Wicked Spirit", which doesn't really tell you anything meaningful about the movie. It just reminds me of a bad imitation of "The Exorcist".

Skillet on the radio?! That's cool, I miss Wisconsin (grew up listening to The Rockin' Apple, WAPL). I've never heard stuff like that on the radio anywhere else I've lived. I didn't know about Skillet until a friend introduced them to me a couple years ago. They actually do live in your hometown. John is from Tennessee, or the band originally, but I think Korey is from Wisconsin, and that is where they live now (I think Seth, the lead guitarist lives elsewhere). Jen is incredibly talented, and quite an addition to the band. The John/Jen vocal mix is magical. You'll see that if you do some of the other songs mentioned in other comments. Here is an example of Jen going crazy on the drums: Forsaken (Live) kzread.info/dash/bejne/anmtqcx7nc6qirg.html Here's an example of her pure vocal abilities... just Jen at home on the couch with some acoustic guitar backing (chills and goosebumps!): My Arms (acoustic) kzread.info/dash/bejne/fa6jxNilpLXgkbQ.html Example of a song that puts the vocals together (also trivia, John wrote this as a tribute to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park): Victorious kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3mXs7ibc83YgKg.html Enjoy!

Yeah, I think this is their most popular song, and maybe THE most popular rock song, at least by streaming record setting... many billions of streams. It isn't my favourite, but it's a fun song at the concerts. I saw these guys play in Melbourne in the early 80's and they stuck around until struggle proved to be too much. Luckily, they left us with a couple of decent post-punk/new wave albums and a few singles. I think this and a lot of their early work is the best they had to offer... In 1981, they got to open for The Cure in Sydney. Robert Smith had mentioned during a Saturday morning TV interview that he was after a local band with a female vocalist, and later that day Pel Mel rocked up, saying ''How about us?'', and they got to open for the yet-to-be-famous British band. I think ''No Word From China'' is their best work...

@@MikeMacabre Yeah.. I only got to see Pel Mel do their own shows in Melbourne. I did see The Cure in 1980 and 1981 at the Crystal Ballroom in Melbourne before they went full goth and pop... They were very funny guys in that dry-cynical way that you can only expect from the British. I'm chuffed by the description ''Delightfully British'', because Pel Mel were from Newcastle (New South Wales), which was a mostly industrial working class city, where locals have Aussie accents that would make Paul Hogan and Steve Irwin sigh. Pel Mel left Newcastle and based themselves in Sydney, and became part of what we call The Inner City Sound (coined by writer, Clinton Walker) - an umbrella term for Australian post-punk, electronic and indi bands of the late 70's and 80's. Australia, mostly Melbourne and Sydney (but also Perth, funny enough), had very interesting scenes with great people that time has sadly forgotten... The most renowned artist from the Inner City Sound era is Nick Cave.

They're more of a band of Christians than a Christian band. They rarely mention God in the songs, and usually tour with non-Christian bands, though they tend to put a message of hope in their songs. Yes Jen does drums and singing (even during concerts). This was one of their bigger songs, but I think they've got much better. Should definitely check out their songs Legendary, Not Gonna Die, Save Me, Back to Life, Finish Line, Whispers in the Dark, surviving the game. Forever or the End if you want more of a slower back and forth between John and Jen. They've been around for nearly 30 years and still going strong so there are alot to recomend. John and Seth ( guitar) have a side project called Fight the Fury which goes little harder. Jen has one called Ledger with Korey (rythm guitar, keyboard, some backing, production, you name it, while also being John's wife and a mother) helps with.

Deutschland is well represented on this channel. And you know your stuff personnel-wise. Not everybody gets their face melted by a salty band member, but it reminds me of when Blixa Bargeld left Nick Cave. Nick was all, "What were we gonna do? Go about in widow's weeds?" I'm guessing that singer misses that member, too. Not to mention his own. And why not some Nick Cave around the place? How about "The Mercy Seat" live? Oh, and cover your face.

This is one that would always fill the dance floor at a goth club night. They did many songs that are better than this, but this has an iconic status in the history of goth. The audacity to put out a single that’s over 9 minutes long and is so minimalistic when most bands were still doing 3 minute songs speaks volumes about this band and their disregard for conventions.
