  This AutoVox SolarPro1 is a new model and expensive camera. I can't buy it because I don't have enough money to buy it The caravan owner installed the camera incorrectly, so the results were not good.

  Lovely site and a great looking outfit. We are planning to buy our first caravan later this year and I’d love to explore that neck of the woods. We are over in Cheshire. How do you find your Discovery? I love them but worried about reliability as I have heard a fair few horror stories. I also like a bit more modern tech too. Have my eyes on a BMW 530d xDrive M Sport too as we need space for the large dog crate to take Cooper and Lando! Would love to have a twin axle one day!

  Thanks, Yes there is a lot of hype about LR's reliability but it is a fantastic car both on & off road, 600nm of torque it pulls effortlessly. What ever you buy I would encourage you to get the best extended warranty you can.

  Thanks Paul, great initial and follow up review. Having decided now to go for the Auto-Vox 4 system, I’ve been trying to find a piece of facia board like the one you’ve adapted but without luck. Can you buy these separately somewhere or did it come off something?

  Thanks glad it was helpful, the facia board was a left over from when ours were replaced on our house, you could try one of the diy stores or local window fitters for an off-cut. A couple of weeks ago our camera failed (blurred image) so I contacted Auto Vox support and within no time a new replacement camera was on its way to me. So if things do ever go wrong with their equipment its good to know their support is first class. Would love to see a photo when you get it installed, good luck.

  Thanks for the review. We are thinking of a week-end at this site. Normally head to Cromer but fancy a change. Wells is only down the road (about 40 mins) for us. As for the E-bikes I would not, get correct size hybred style with a quality saddle and you wont go wrong. Keep the VLOG's comming and thanks again!

  We've been camping with a class c but recently traded the Mazda for an LR4 The previous owner used the " bolt on" hitch for a bike rack. I got the wiring kit and need to get a trailer brake controller. Next is selling the rv and getting a trailer :) Our Fox something is my navigator 😂 BTW, I lived in Labrador and only saw huskies, no Labs

  Hello Sheila, we are very happy with them. They are so easy to wash when we return home, similar to duvet covers. They are comfortable to sleep in, too. If you have any questions about size ect, just email the guy at snuglux, he was very helpful. Thank you for watching our video 😊

  Has a hgv driver I can’t see the point in a rear facing camera look where you’re going not where you’ve been if someone is going to shunt you up the rear there going to do it wether or not you’ve a rear facing camera .also with all the rest of the screens on your dashboard your taking a lot of forward vision away from your view out of the windscreen. Nice vehicle though .

  How did you find the roads in France? Im taking my 8ft wide caravan to the south of France in July. Glad ive watched this as I was dreading getting on the carriage but you made it look easy.

  In my experience the roads in France are so much better than here in the UK, the toll routes can be expensive but they are quick and easy, have a great holiday & you will find Le Shuttle easy 👍

  Totally agree with you about Granthams. When i picked up my basecamp the bed slats were broken fridge vents broken solar panel not working. They then said when I pointed out these faults that i would have to wait until they had a slot to book it in. I will never buy from Granthams again bloody useless!!!!!

  The biggest thing I’ve towed onto the Eurotunnel was my boat which from the towbar to the end of the mast was over 9 metres long. It was 2.55 metres wide. I didn’t dare tell the caravaners on the same crossing that my ‘trailer’ had only cost €15 to make the crossing as they had paid considerably more.

  Do you mean the towing cover on the front of the van if so then these are to protect the van from dirt, stone chips and broken windows when towing.

  I would say ‘No’ to an e-bike, they are more like a scooter than a bicyle. I would say buy a good quality bicycle, thick all terrain tyres and a massive armchair seat 🎉🎉

  I know i'am a bit late to the videos, but got hooked on your 5 part trip to france which we are doing in june for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed them but would just like to ask which site you are on here as we have 4 dogs and do find it a struggle to find sites to take so many. hope you are enjoying your van, we have a 2023 Elddis 860 twin axle which i love too.

  Hi, In this video we were at Deer's Glade in Norfolk. We still have 4 dogs however our black lab has now passed and we now have Beau a small cockerpoo who thinks she as big as the other 3. We cant always take them all as, like you mentioned, some sites have limits, although the caravan club doesn't usually put a limit on it as long as they are well behaved, enjoy you new van.   After so many years enjoying the comfort of a fixed bed, we wouldn't want to have to make bed up every night. That is a lovely 'van by the way! We too recently bought a Coachman560 VIP...no more sodding about with the tail lights like we had to go through with our previous Swift.

  having watched all your vids on the france tour thought i recognise your reg paul you and sharon were back to back other side the hedge at norfolk broads site may 2021. Very interested in the rear camera fitting vid would it be possible paul if you could send me the distance between the piece of facia to the joint of your roof panel also the depth of facia used got laser 875 so the position should be the same.All the best to you and sharon enjoying vids keith &helen

  Hi Keith & Helen, small world isn't it, glad you're enjoying the vids. The piece of facia i cut down to be 210mm long x 110mm wide & 15mm at thick at the front edge, its 160mm from the roof joint, hope that helps.
