  whats the cruising speed of this boat? im saw a good deal here in france where i live, it has a volvo 50hp. do these boats get to plane with 50hp? or are they on the dreadnought chill type of cruising? id love to get an answeer since these boats are rare...

  I think you need to be careful how you're promoting this boat. It doesn't look like a Broom to me. If it was, it'd have a production plate saying as much. The fact you've not posted a picture of one, or included it in the video suggest the boat lacks the plate. The two angular sides and flat centre on the transom are also something which doesn't appear on the genuine Broom 37 hull, so it doesn't look like a custom build on a Broom hull either. The Ocean Star name suggests to me that it's probably more likely to be an Aquastar boat (built in Guernsey). Also, this exact boat sold in Scotland recently for an advertised £25k (possibly less after negotiation).

  When a hull is in poor condition, what the owner do? He paint the hull to cover the problem and immediately sell it.

  @@mr.breugelmansI agree however a quick painting of a hull alone cannot hide patches of osmosis nor damage, especially a dark blue colour as it highlights any imperfections, - ask any painter which colour he or she would prefer and their answer will be brilliant white. This hull clearly shows a professional has painted it and thats not cheap - with a yacht of this size you'd not get any change out of 10k and that does not include any damage - osmosis repairs. I would always recommend an independent survey be carried out by any prospective buyer of any yacht prior to offer - purchase. Have a good day and enjoy the season.
