Great movie. Thank you. Love the intimate last scene here that is reminiscent of Paul Henreid with two cigarettes in his mouth, lighting one for him and the other for Bette Davis in the 1942 Now, Voyager. The hint of a true, abiding love creates a powerful promise.

I once had a strange guy I knew from college stalk me- showed up at my work. Even showed up in front of my house riding around the neighborhood. I was married with teenaged children when this was happening. (He lived an hour's drive away) Everybody made excuses for him and said he seemed harmless. Found out later he had been arrested for trespassing in a previous situation.

everyone saying life was better then…get a grip you mad idiots. a movie about a woman who murders 2 people and tries to kill a third just for the money is something to aspire to??. what a dumb lot of nitwits. The only thing that is different about today from those days is there are more bloody thick stupid uneducated people now. Human life means more now than it ever had. Once the rich and powerful lived in fear of being murdered by their jealous peers. The poor died of hunger or as cannon fodder in wars. Those things still happen but on a lesser scale. Read some world history, learn something or STFU

This film has been uploaded for three years. Suddenly more than 50 comments within 3 days.Some seems genuine,some suspicious of bots or created of AI to flood with artificial comments. Any other non paranoid explanation?

I enjoyed the movie, thank you. However, it begs credibility that the dual deaths of husband and wife, with the close involvement in both of someone who stood to inherit everything, should not have triggered a proper investigation at the time. Anyway, following the closing scene I hope all the locals who had some connection with the family lined up to offer their profuse apology for their blind stupidity. 😉 Mona Freeman was brilliant as a precocious teenager in Dear Ruth and its sequels but as an adult actress I’m afraid she didn’t quite make the grade.
