I didn't realize that John McCain was the one urguring the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq back in 2000. I didn't realize that WMDs was a talking point even pre 9/11.

I remember the 1980 Convention in Detroit while the votes nominating Reagan were being cast, word spread on the floor that Reagan had picked Ford for Vice President and Ford had agreed.

Wow, in 2024 it's amazing to see the losing candidates talking about how great democracy is even though they came in on the short end. Especially in this day and age when the current administration (Joey Biden) and the Democrats are trying to tear down democracy at every turn.

This is not as "innocent old-man humor" as many imagine. These girls were often only 13-15 years old. Paal Clasen was an idiot who deservedly got fired quite quickly after these episodes.

bush family = pure nepotism from the moment he gets in its all about completing daddy's war. He gave 0 shits about the american people. Thats not to say that people like JFK with his fascist running mate LBJ are any less disgusting. And somehow Obama's brainwashing is worse than Bish's forever war. Nixon deserved better.

"Within the covers of that single book are all the answers to all the problems that face us today... The morality and values such faith implies are deeply embedded in our national character. Our country embraces those principles by design, and we abandoned them at our peril." - President Ronald Reagan

20 years ago today, this State funeral was held. Those were beautiful eulogies delivered by the Bushes. Tomorrow, George H.W. Bush would have celebrated his 💯 birthday. RIP to both Ronald Reagan and the elder Bush. They no longer belong to us. They belong to the ages. Back together again with First Ladies Nancy and Barbara. Poor little Robin…😢 We need more great leaders in our country than ever now.❤🙏🏻

Ronald Reagan was a great man and leader. I can't believe it has already been 20 years since his state funeral. I was impressed that he was still alive after battling with Alzheimer's disease while I was born, but he died about half a year later when I was born. None of the Americans will ever forget about the 40th president. Rest in peace, Mr. and Mrs. Reagan! 🇺🇸🫡

during this crazy political time of US when we don't have a true leader and all the politicians act like 5-year-old children, I miss Reagan more than ever - as an immigrant who was inspired by America - the shining city on the hill. Now, today, I don't think America is the shining city on the hill. We need someone like Reagan.
