Only the WNBA could have their own version of Magic / Bird in Reese / Clark and instead of capitalizing on it and growing the game, exponentially, they focus on telling the white girl that she "ain't all that," while her counterpart completely overlooks and passes by the wonderful opportunity presented to her and Clark to grow the league. It's almost as if the league has business-based, suicidal tendencies rather than to have a good, old, money motivated focus to make everyone in the league, wealthy. It is very hard to watch and even harder to understand!

Storm vs Fever: seemed apparent to me that the Fever coaching team did NOT want Caitlin to shoot much. The Storm were clearly guarding Clark 100% effectively and consistently, (something the coaching staff should have adjusted to from the beginning) yet I saw very few Fever offensive plays designed to open Clark up for the shot. It was frustrating to watch as I felt a HS basketball coach could implement alternative offensive plays to open up a team's accomplished 3 point shooters to have the time to plant and shoot. Also, a coaching team would certainly know that the Storm would do everything they could do to stick to Clark like white on rice and keep her from racking up points b.c yes, if Clark had been open to shoot, the game would have changed greatly. Yes, the Storm was good (are good) but Fever strategy was not altered to utilize Clark's skills. I just didn't see the attempt to implement alternative plays (positioning, screens, etc..)! So, begs the question; "why?" Frustrating. If I'm frustrated, imagine how Clark felt. Bottom line; the Fever coaching staff are not up to par and the players are caught in it. Sh8t always slides down from the top. Always.

I just saw this "person" playing in the WNBA and doing so well. In fact so well, "She" is a "He" so the WNBA is no longer about Women's Basketball. This will come back and haunt the WNBA for not being honest, and trying to pull a fast one on the public.

The only thing I can say to the women, old and new, of the WNBA is if you feel you're not getting the recognition that Caitlin Clark gets, then don't get bitter, get better. Work on your own strengths, and be spoken about in the same breath as her for the right reasons. Don't get bogged down under someone else's limelight. It makes you look sour and pathetic, childish in the extreme. I've never seen Caitlin Clark blowing her own trumpet. The opposite, if anything. She doesn't swagger about and push herself in your face. She backs you all up and states how good you are and how well you played, in interviews. She gives credit where credit is due, and she remains completely grounded. If you shone brightly over a long career, the nature of sport is that up and comers strive to do better, and occasionally one comes along that to an extent outshines everyone. That is to be welcomed and applauded. If you need to take issue with someone, it has to be the ones that think that they're speaking on Caitlins behalf. It's those people that you have to prove something to, not Caitlin. Be secure in your own strengths because the public will respect and laud you for your actions so much more. Even her own coach is frightened to death of how good she is. What you do and how you act now and for the rest of the time you're playing with or against Caitlin is how you'll be remembered. Not for your skills at basketball, and you will have done that to yourself with no help from anyone else.

If the Fever GM doesn't care about the team, about how disastrous Sides is deliberately coaching into team into the gutter - needs to be immediately fired, doesn't care about not maximizing Caitlin Clark's awesome talent and skill once in a generation player, as the #1 WNBA Draft Pick they selected, doesn't care about useless players like Mitchell, Wheeler, Wallace, Boston who couldn't pass the ball, catch the ball to save their lives, doesn't care about profits, doesn't care about any chance to make the playoffs, doesn't care about their fans, then the season and the team is finished, its over. Um, how about Clark know her damn role and be a rookie? She needs to stop believing the media-created hype surrounding her (Someone remind me...she won HOW many championships at Iowa?) and play the point instead of jacking up 3s from 40 feet. Clark shoots 35% from the 3, which is exactly what Diana Taurasi shoots. Remember her? The player you all said was "jealous," yet Taurasi shoots the same percentage from 3 that Clark does. Let that sink in for a moment and remember that Taurasi is twice Clark's age. This whole diva nonsense from Clark needs to stop. The league is tired of it and so are her teammates and coaching staff. This notion that if you criticize Clark in the slightest, you're a hater, has gotten stale. I feel bad for Sides and her teammates who have to deal with her because the chemistry on the team was fine until Clark came. Hmmm, I wonder who the real problem is?

Does CC have a support system in place beyond the locker room? Does she have any veteran help? I have never heard a professional player say something like this during an interview. What is going on behind the scenes?

It has become clear that Christie Sides wants to build a big slow team that forces the ball inside. Caitlin Clark's talent lends. itself to a fast paced uptempo running team. The owner and GM must decide which type of team that they want and draft the appropriate personnel. The Fever failed to do this when they drafted Caitlin Clark. The front office needs to get behind building an uptempo team. Sides need to be removed now.

Bingo. You say, 1 :32 "but how can Clark be more active without the proper support and strategy from the coach.? The coach has no pro offense. It's an 8th grade offense. Against pro defenses, it gets carved up. Sides has risen to her level of incompetence. Clark has the heart of a champion & will survive. But this coach is trouble.

Clark NEEDS to play both sides of the ball consistently. Why would anyone expect teammates to support you when you make zero effort on defense? It’s stupid that people play like that now. Everyone can score, but who will give consistent effort on defense? Those are the players who get the respect ultimately. Jimmy butler, Paul George, years ago kawhi Leonard, dejounte Murray. Now we have to many Luka doncic, Trae young, lamelo ball types.

Coach Chrisite Sides HATES Caitlin Clark and is just tolerating her. The spotlight is on Caitlin Clark and the Coach and other players are seriously jealous of Caitlin. Its written all over them during and after the games. The teammates do not defend or stick up for Caitlin, the guard #0 is frantic, out of control and reckless when she dribbles but thinks in her mind she's the best player on the team when she is not. Defense by the other players is non existent. The Seattle Storm team bullied the Fever players except Caitlin.

Even if CC22 shoots the ball more, it may not be a better outcome. They need to be quality shots, and she can only get quality shots if her teammates participate and set proper screens. Also, CC22 gets a lot of turnovers because teammates cannot handle a pass. I'm not too fond of turnover stats because they fail to reflect the facts [a good pass that is mishandled is scored as a turnover to the passer].
