Useless review! Explains nothing! Does this guy work for the company? With fork drop outs, anyone with a hammer and chisel could remove this in no time wheel. Thanks for warning me to not waste my money.

Impossible on my rim. Still need to use levers and I always nip the inner tube.

I like the adapter you mention to allow a 44 tooth cassette. Your 34 tooth small front ring will give you awesome climbing. Many gravel bikes are geared way too high I think. Thanks so much.

Dude this was the simplest explanation I've visited like 4 other videos and they made it so difficult for me to understand what you needed to do. I might just be stupid too, but thank you so much. lol

Fought for 1h. Watched this video. Still fighting 1h later. Zip tie trick from the comments didn't work either 😢 I'm doubting I'll ever get this tire on.

Exactly what I bought, thanks. A Kryptonite "D-lock" with looped cable for the front wheel. I bought another cable for the rear. I think it is a matter of a thief reviewing how long it may take to make off with the bike, and how much noise he may make. At home there's nothing to lock to in my shed but a large ladder. I hope it may cause too much noise to knock off the door lock, find no seat to sit on, then cut the cables. My brother had a Harley-Davidson motorbike stolen from his back yard.

Instead of pushing with your thumbs, flip it over and pull with all 8 fingers. Fingers together are much stronger than thumbs.

I bought a Abus and Andy lock. I had my ebike stolen last month but I had insurance. I ordered another bike that should be here within a week. My brother in law bought me three locks as a gift but one is a cable lock I figured I'd just use the cable lock to lock things like my Helmet. I'm going to get more quality locks and a GPS tracker.

Hi, this video shows you the right thing to do about making your bicycle less appealing and safe. I was wondering if a carbon frame, secured as hell will be damaged after a while because of the locks?

Great tip - I also put the tyres in the sun for awhile and let the rubber soften up - helped a treat along with the cable ties

There is also issue with spoke tension, so if you pool or lose too much the spoke it will effect recommended spoke tension. So, each will, brand tyope of rim and spoke, has own tension spoke table, (like DT Swiss etc).

Same here. Just put the 'E' version of these on a 29" hybrid emtb.I got them on no problems, but I found that the new tyres seemed quite deformed before I even put them on which concerned me. One was worse than the other. I know they are seated properly as the very inner thin barred strip the sits flush to the rim is perfect all round. Tube is also good. The reflective stripe on the outside is not even though. I don't have any vertical bumps, just a slight side to side wobble on both wheels. I don't know what to do!

I've never seen that much railing anyplace I've lived where it amounts to that much locking space for bikes, even long ways in. At most we'll have one averagely configured bike rack by a store and you couldn't reasonably lock sideways because it would remove too many potential spots from others. One thing, there are some very good and beefy chain locks out there in the same security category as the better Kryptonite U-locks like the Orange Evolution series. I have one. It's 10mm link size, and they can't bust through them with large bolt cutters either. They are heavier by a couple of pounds though.

Overall, what did this setup cost you, and what do you think it would cost for a beginner to make some of the changes you did? Also are there any modifications you showed that should be left to a bike mechanic or could it be done without any help by a beginner with some tools and some time? Good video.

Great video! But I'm a little confused... For every spoke that you tighten, shouldn't the opposite spoke adjacent to the spoke on the opposite side be loosened? Im trying to replace a broken spoke that is on the freewheel side and noticed that my rim got bent. It got bent enough to where I had to unhook the brake calipers to keep the wheel from rubbing the brake calipers. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
