I heard this song once on the radio and I couldn’t shake it. Absolute lightning bolt. A month later, I heard it again, dove to my tape recorder and got half of the song. The third time, I called the radio station and begged them to tell me who it was singing. And I have officially been a Dalbello fan for the last 40 years because of it. One of the most underrated artists ever.
Watch her video for "Close To You" then watch Liza Minnelli's for "Losing My Mind". Dalbello made hers much earlier than Liza. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

What can I say. I discovered Barbra when I was 17 and she was on the Judy Garland Show (another of my special entertainer). I would put Streisand's music on on Sat. As my daughters & I cleaned our home. They were teenagers and at that time they weren't Streisand but now they listen to her music without me having to put it on. She is not just a fantastic singer she is an extraordinary entertainer. I have almost every record, CD, have watched every one of her movies. I am now 76 yrs old and I hope that before I kick the bucket I will be able to get to just one of her concerts. I thank you Ms Streisand for all the joy you have brought into my life. ❤
She is in her 80s now and the chance of her touring is looking slim. She did 3 major tours over the years covering many cities. Did she not come to your city? I saw her twice and the tickets weren't cheap. But the experience outweighs the cost.
