What a sweet sound. I've heard deer grunt, but it doesn't sound like this. This is almost a mew. I think they're saying, "It's OK. That human won't hurt you. All it wants is to do that wierd movement on it's porch."
Wild turkeys in our area at least are pretty quiet, you will be working outside and feel someone looking at you. You turn around a turkey will be within 5 feet of you.

We had ones in Texas that had twins. They became so used to us on our walk, that eventually mama started showing us her babies each year. One year it was triplets. By weaning she was a bag of bones, but all of them survived. ♥️

it's amazing how strong and healthy they all look. I've seen a lot of domesticated horses that didn't look half as healthy. Magnificent creatures!

Liberty State Park is a wonderful park to visit, it overlooks (NYC) Manhattan skyline, you can take a cruise and see Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty up close.

We call our property deer central. I counted 20 deer grazing in the open meadow this evening.

Love this area of San Diego county too always exciting things too see and find at low tide.
Love this area of San Diego cliffs, at low tide you can explore the tide pools. Lots of hiking trails along the cliffs to view the surf at anytime of the year.
Another blessing of the beautiful peaceful waves in the morning.
Definitely a different world caves and caverns. Parts are so large they have a stage area where they sometimes have concerts. Spectacular creations some are formed just one drip at at time,
