I did this a couple of years ago, with my 80 year old brother. He managed it much better than I did. It's still well worth the dry heaves, to get up to the top. The colours are peak the first week in October, through the Thanksgiving weekend.

I stopped going to the #myhaliburtonhighlands after the terrible customer service and unfriendly atmosphere of all the residents. For a place dependant on tourism, there certainly is an uptight, high school like clique mood going on. Save your money and go to a better region where you're welcome
