    What do you say is your favorite thing about this lounge?

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents2 күн бұрын

    I like the lounge is divided into different sections and lounges. You can find rooms that are quiet, long benches, and cubicles that fit families. There are also seats with open spaces for those with a lot of luggage. I hope they can have more staff to help clean up plates as people rotate out. Additionally, I wish they would add a soda machine for non-alcoholic drinks, so I wouldn't need to go to the bar for a soda.

    Hi! Great video! I will going there in November and would bring my Mom. My concern is there a lot of walking? She can walk but a bit slow. Thank you.

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents9 күн бұрын

    @jem1848, I believe the Lower Antelope Canyon involves more challenging hikes with stairs and ladders. Also, if you're looking to take pictures with Mommy under those magical light beams, I believe that's a feature of the Upper Antelope Canyon. For Horseshoe Bend : (watch 03:58) they will only give you an hour to go down and come back up. The walk doesn't look very steep, but it is a bit of a long hike for elderly. At (03:49), you will see there is a shaded bench at an early mid-point where she may be able to sit down and enjoy the view (prepare a bottle of water for her) if you want to run down and take a quick look. From arriving by bus all the way to the entrance of the canyon was easy. The longest walk of the trip was towards the end (07:16). They didn't have any transportation to take you back to the jeep. I would call and check if they can arrange golf carts or even have tours specifically for elderly visitors. I hope you have a blast with your mom on your upcoming trip!

    @@jem1848 Thank you so much! Have a lot of fun and take more pictures. By the way, if you're a fan of hotel rewards traveling, I’ve shared some tips and experiences in this video at Vegas (kzread.info/dash/bejne/dZeOt8-viKzccco.html). I don't encourage people to apply for credit cards in rush just to get the perks. You will always need few months to spread out the minimum spend with your normal expenses. You can skip the rest of the details and just pay attention to the point redemption part and see if it may be something useful for your trip. Good luck on the trip!!

    so what are the things to consider before visiting?

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents19 күн бұрын

    Hello @reggieowens, are you planning to stay overnight? Or it is going to be a day trip for you? I think the ride tour is the core activity, you should consider joining. You will also need to make reservation if you are staying for dinner. There are options around Santa Rosa. It depends whether you want it like a zoo visit or a camping trip. Let me know if you may have more questions you think I may be able to answer. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents19 күн бұрын

    Ah @reggieowens5949, it has been a while. I didn't realize you were probably asking me to expand on my title. Things to consider would be whether you want to spend the money to stay overnight. People may have different expectations about camping in a zoo. It's not inherently good or bad; it just depends on what your expectations are. That's the main thing.

    i have the same cup!! Its not from icee tho... its another brand but same model

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents23 күн бұрын

    Let's walk through the steps again to see if we might be missing something. First, you need to place the empty cup in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours. I put it in with the lid on just to make sure the cup stays clean. Then, start pouring in juice, soda, or any soft drink you'd like to make into an ICEE. With this older style cup, you need to constantly scrape the ice off the walls of the cup. As the juice hits the sides of the cup and freezes, you need to scrape it off so new liquid can touch the walls. Continue this scraping process, and gradually, more ice will form inside the cup, eventually becoming a cup of ICEE after a few minutes. There's a newer design where you can now squeeze the cup instead of scraping it: kzread.infoccnMNHHJ7IU. I hope it works out for you!

    *How popular Pokemon STILL is.

  • @roadtripparents
    @roadtripparents24 күн бұрын

    Jimmy, I feel like Pokémon is an integral part of Japanese culture, particularly under the subcategory of animated series. In terms of loving the cuteness of the characters, there is no age boundary, much like with Snoopy and Hello Kitty. Kids typically grow up with the storylines and characters starting from the age of 3 and up. In my daughter's case, her core interest in Pokémon shifted to other sports-related anime like Blue Lock as she developed an interest in playing sports with friends. However, new generations continue to start collecting Pokémon cards, maintaining the cycle (like some of my wife's students). It's somewhat similar to how Transformers or Peanuts are cherished in the US. New seasons are still coming out. And you see the themes around more than you see Mickey in the US. :-). At least how I felt.

    It isn’t like a swimming pool, it is more like a beach environment. You will be required to wear a life jacket at all times. I remembered walking out to the floating platform probably about 5 ft. But you will find places that are deeper and some shallower closer to the beach and the cabana. Have a lot of fun Simgrewal1234. The platform is very slippery. Wear water / surfing shoes.
