    The raw meat is NOT placed on the dinner plate. You use an extra plate or bowl for the raw meat - basics of kitchen hygiene (cross contamination).

    Should say the out loud to all Germans. 😁 I put my raw meat on a different section of the plate and the cooked on a different section. However, our German Opa put his cooked and raw meat side by side . He’s pushing 90 and is strong as an ox. We have fondue one a year, doesn’t seem to affect him at all.

    If you had to choose between Extanobe & Amaren … which would you recommend as a better food experience? I deciding between the 2 as don’t have time to try both.. stress 😂 Btw thank u for your tips.. found out Amaren has a burger place that’s looks really awesome too… probably do a lunch there

  • @BabblingSpoon
    @BabblingSpoon5 ай бұрын

    Amaren has a Burger resto and Steak house which is located practically opposite each other. We mistakenly went to their burger place first and it was just as beautifully decorated and feels “posh” . I haven’t tried their food though, they had different menu. If you like steaks, I would recommend Amaren, Extanobe is a Michelin starred restaurant, they offer set menus, a classic and a modern take of Basque Cuisine. Just like many high end places, food came in big plates and small portions ☺️.

    Nice video, but I think it would be very helpful to add some English text so we know where you're visiting. For example, you mentioned how you went down a street and it had the Nakatonidon that made mochi...can you let us know what the street name is? I'm assuming there were different stores, which tourists could visit, but if you could confirm this, it would be helpful. Also, I didn't see the name of the restaurant that you had dinner at....could you provide the name? Also, how late do these restaurants stay open till...I heard that many places close up early (even as early as 6pm)? Appreciate your help.

  • @BabblingSpoon

    Hi, sorry but I can not name the streets nor the shops since it’s written in Japanese 😅. I simply follow the navigation leading to our destinations. I did noticed that most restaurants in Nara or even Kyoto close pretty early though. We did not stay late in Nara because of that. Thank you for the input, I will try to be more specific next time.

    Hello! Thank you po sa video. I really enjoyed the previous two videos from Bilbao. I discovered that you are my kababayan. So impressed by your videos. My husband and I are planning on visiting Bilbao and follow a similar course you took to get to San Sebastián in April. We are coming from the US, fly into Madrid. I want to fly into Bilbao but my husband wants to drive to it from Madrid instead. Can we please have a comprehensive information on hotels that you stayed in throughout your travels? Did you rent a hybrid car? Are the gas stations plentiful on your journey? Maraming salamat po. Mabuhay

  • @BabblingSpoon
    @BabblingSpoon Жыл бұрын

    Hello Mageline, thank you for your kind words. Hotels and gas stations are plentiful in the Basque county. We live in Europe and we are used to cars with manual transmission but you can get Automatic cars as well. With regards to hotels, it will be wise to first make your itinerary, which places do you intend to visit? Then look for the hotel at the places you intend to visit. We flew to Bilbao and spent 3 days on the road going to San Sebastián. The names of our hotels are listed on my vlog. We then stayed 7 days in Sebastian , staying at a mid range/3 stars hotel before traveling back to Bilbao. There’s enough hotels in San Sebastián and Bilbao kasi major cities sila. Hotels and AirBnB accommodations are plentiful. Enjoy the Basque Country, it’s a beautiful place at masasarap ang foods nila. 😋😀
