Hello! I'm Danica, a registered nurse originally from the Philippines, now practicing in the United Kingdom. As an NHS Band 5 nurse, I began my career in the Emergency Department, where I spent 28 months before transitioning to the Ophthalmology Department. It is here that I discovered my true passion and love for the profession.
My vlogs delve into the world of nursing, providing a candid glimpse into our everyday experiences. I aim to assist and inspire future nurses on their journey towards this fulfilling career.

if you are still young and have the opportunity to work in USA. go for it... they offer a better salary and the cost of living is cheaper than in the UK. just take your NCLEX and english exams as your passport to your american dreams.
❤
Thanks a lot for letting your followers see how you get to work. Your work as a nurse is so valuable to all of us here in the UK.

Lovely day enjoy your shift

Hello sis.sa pag extend ba ng skilled worker visa need pa ba uli ng Police clearance? Kase hinihingi uli sakin ng Sponsor ko.

I just want to share my opinion about ILR and Citizenship entitlement. Ive been here in the UK since May2019 and have US qualification and on process of moving there as well but I didnt applied for ILR because of some reasons that I hope you will comment back or share your view on these. I didnt apply for ILR because when life or career didnt work in US i can still come back here in the UK as a nurse as I’m still nmc registered and if finally decided to settle for the rest of my productive years I can still qualify for ILR and Citizenship though price will surely be higher than today unless I invested it actively to match the future cost. Also, I am planning to retire in the Philippines though it is expensive to survive there without health insurance, I am making it sure that I will retire with a good and reliable health insurance from a good retirement fund from investment or pension as I can say I devt decent skills in trading and investing in stock market and currencies. I see ILR and Citizenship as impractical if I will eventually move to somewhere else and comparing to US green card which is a privilege granted by an employer unlike ILR paid out of pocket. Thanks for your comment in advance.
Feeling so defeated: (i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Nclex :(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying💔💔😢😭😔😔💔😞😔💔
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for 2nd attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win, i know am capable
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
The nclex exam is very difficult and frustrating to pass, I've always believed usmle is not all about studying, you need God's grace too
People keep talking about Melissa all over KZread, he must be a very awesome help.
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help.
Natawa ako "icheck yung pwet kung may butas o wala"😂😂

I am 25 years old living in Japan working as a caregiver , but i really want to work in UK as a nurse can you help me? 😦 Like is it too late for me to change my life ?
San po magandang location sa UK to work as a nurse? Countryside po ba?
US may pay more but take into the account the lack of sick leave, lack of maternity leave, cost of living, cost of health insurance. Etc
After experiencing ward, borings sounds amazing 😂💗
Boring, no challenge is fantastic after chaos and hell in a ward.
This is not a great salary in the UK even in 2024 its a terrible salary if you are looking at working here and are content to live in a share house or an overpriced studio apartment as a single person I'd say go for it ....England is expensive !! as a nurse in the Philippines you might earn a quarter of this starting out but the quality and cost for your daily living expenses are far less than the UK
Hey Danica , can I transfer my osce pin to USA NCLEx ? Do I need to give NCLEX even if I have osce pin to work in USA ? Please reply . Thanks
