I just want to share my opinion about ILR and Citizenship entitlement. Ive been here in the UK since May2019 and have US qualification and on process of moving there as well but I didnt applied for ILR because of some reasons that I hope you will comment back or share your view on these. I didnt apply for ILR because when life or career didnt work in US i can still come back here in the UK as a nurse as I’m still nmc registered and if finally decided to settle for the rest of my productive years I can still qualify for ILR and Citizenship though price will surely be higher than today unless I invested it actively to match the future cost. Also, I am planning to retire in the Philippines though it is expensive to survive there without health insurance, I am making it sure that I will retire with a good and reliable health insurance from a good retirement fund from investment or pension as I can say I devt decent skills in trading and investing in stock market and currencies. I see ILR and Citizenship as impractical if I will eventually move to somewhere else and comparing to US green card which is a privilege granted by an employer unlike ILR paid out of pocket. Thanks for your comment in advance.

Feeling so defeated: (i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Nclex :(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying💔💔😢😭😔😔💔😞😔💔

Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

This is not a great salary in the UK even in 2024 its a terrible salary if you are looking at working here and are content to live in a share house or an overpriced studio apartment as a single person I'd say go for it ....England is expensive !! as a nurse in the Philippines you might earn a quarter of this starting out but the quality and cost for your daily living expenses are far less than the UK
