Hey there! My name is Def Poppa! I'm a huge gamer, tabletop and videogames. I have a lot of creative energy and have been very inspired to run a gaming KZread channel. I don't have a ton of experience in video editing and creating content, but my main goal is to improve upon these skills. There are tons of games that I have never played, and I would love to share my experiences with you as I play them. So, come and join me in my journey to try lots of new things from new games to new editing styles!

This build is not absurd. If anything, it's s low and clunky... Granted, you feel a lot of control over the combat, and able to jump to safety, but its slowdown doesn't affect the timer which will come to be important on higher fear.
Fair. It was pretty fun and dished out solid damage. So I'm a fan of it
I've had THE wolf howl run: 2x -5 magick cost, -25% hex magick cost from hermes, (Needed 22.5 magick for wolf howl) 2x omega charge rate from chaos on Staff + Hex charging arcana card. For the hex itsself I had 2x hex, free crit after hex, 1s immune after hex and damage on rising up. Literally; 1 omega attack from staff > Hex > Free Crit attack > hex > Omega Attack w/ guaranteed crit > Loop. And people are saying hexes suck and you can't make a build around them while I get my 90%-of-the-time-immunity runs lol.
Wow, that's awesome!
Wow that Harrison guy really brings a lot to the channel. I think he could really be popular. Shame about his terrible mic quality though, hopefully he can fix that in the future
Nice vid
Glad you enjoyed!
sounds fun, can anyone join?
At the moment we are just whitelisting people we know. I could bring it up to the others to see if they are willing to have others join. If we do, we will probably have to do some sort of vetting system, cause trolls are annoying to deal with
id apply
LETSGOOOOOOOO
hiw do you get access to the alpha?
Game is currently in pre-release and available for purchase.
Yep, what Taplash said. I got it on Steam, but it is also on the Epic store.
For someone who faced Chronos for the first time, your run is impressive. Esp having no hearts since cerberus. And I hated that axe but you used it like a champ. I might have to reconsider using it again. Thanks
When the heck did Hades 2 come out, the hell?
It's currently in early access, so it's not fully complete yet.
@@defpoppagaming5432 Having playing it, how much is missing? Does it feel fleshed out? I got the first one in early access if I remember correctly. I never did "finish" it tho. I beat it, just didn't BEAT it (unlock everything, max every weapon ect).
@@udalix It is def still a work in progress. Certain weapons feel kinda weak comparatively to others, and some boons feel too strong/weak compared to the average. Also, in an episode coming out tomorrow, you'll see that there is a cutoff to the gameplay for a certain section. Like you cannot proceed as it has not been developed yet, but they give you a statement saying that there is more to come with this area. I would consider holding off to buy it until at least a few more months, if not until early 2025 when they plan for the full release to be ready.
Skulls are my least favourite weapon by faaaaaaar.
Loved your gameplay
Glad you like it!
Ugh I fucking hate the flames, then the skulls. The wand is pretty good but fav is lim and oros
abusing the special on this is the only way i have any fun with it, lets you focus on positioning more
😭i tried it too, but the special doesn't stop the foes from attacking. Do you have any tips on that?
mix the special with the fire boon and spam the dash for maintain the distances and you will see the magic Also, it is great with multiple foes at the same time
I am def learning that the special is the way to go with this weapon. 'Preciate the tips!
@@AngryBigPigI'm not the person you were replying to, but I use torches almost every run, and my favorite way to build it is by running Aphrodite's keepsake and picking the one that makes your special do more damage to close-range foes. After that, I find it's best to try to find a Poseidon offering to get the magic bubble boon for magic regeneration, since the build is focused on your Omega Special. There are multiple ways to get magic sustain though, like a Chaos boon, or there's a Demeter boon that restores your mana while standing still. After that, you mostly wanna focus on powering up your Special boon as much as you can, but the build is pretty open-ended. There are a couple of hammer options that really help, Triple Helix in particular, which adds another flame to your Omega Special. As far as the playstyle goes, you wanna try to get several Omega Specials spinning before you approach enemies, and you wanna focus on positioning behind them and dashing to keep yourself out of harm's way while your Omega Special does tons of damage! I hope this helps!
@@zeldafan9656 thanks man, i will give it a try in my next run
Best luck I've had with those is Aphrodite special with the meteor hammer upgrade. I hope they tweak it a bit for final release because I think I could like it but it just doesn't QUITE work the way I want I feel. I have definitely pred the gameplay with the special/omega special to the attack though.
Thanks for the info! I have used them in one more run since I recorded this episode run and I tried to focus more on the special. It def seemed better.
Sweet vid! I'ma check this game out. Audio sounds great!
Just finished watching the video and ot was another good one!
Thanks dude! Great work!
Keep up the great work 👍 You will do great things
Thanks dawg!
yeah
I am his buddy, thanks for the shout-out
Lil' Cuz is hilarious! Looking forward to future episodes!
Noice
Well guys, I have some sad news. Last week I uninstalled Overwolf from my PC, and that messed up my CurseForge launcher for this modded Minecraft world. The world file and all of its backups got removed and overwritten on my hard drive. So I am sad to say that this is (unwillingly) the last episode of this series. I will probably start another Minecraft series in the future though!
The madman has bEAT MINECRAFT!
Big progress once again! Let me know if y'all have any feedback!
Keep Learning and Developing! suggestion: the time lapses are slightly long, I'm at 1:26 and stopped the urge to click away.
Thanks for your feedback! I definitely agree, that piece did go a bit long
Big moves were made today! Let me know if you guys have any feedback for me, I want to keep improving my skills, both editing and building
Nice vid
Im a fan! You need marketing, look into "PromoSM"!
cool content boss
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed
The RNG was strong with you with those trades... wow
For real. Could not have asked for a better set of starting trades! Now I gotta get Unbreaking III and I'll be in a great spot!
hey dude, There is a yt i watch that plays a content server similar to Hermitcraft, but for smaller YTs, they are adding members rn, i think you should apply, here is the vid he posted for more info if ur interested kzread.info-jQxFfJx3PE?feature=share
Nice vid!! Nice to see other channels still sticking with Minecraft content! Makes me feel better about my own content knowing so many people still play it haha! Keepp itt upp XDD !!!! - Coppit XDD
Thanks dude, glad you liked it! And yeah, Microsoft would have to try pretty hard to kill Minecraft at this point, even after the some of the latest controversies haha
Hey guys, let me know if you have any feedback on the time lapses! I tried to vary the length of each one. The first was ~5 min, the second ~3 min, and the third ~1 min. Which one was your favorite? Should I try to keep them on the shorter side, or nah? Any feedback would be much appreciated!

You never knew the modern Lego games had dialogue?! 😅
I definitely did. I have played through Lego DC Supervillains and Lego The Incredibles fairly recently and they both had dialogue so I don't know why I was so surprised when they talked lol
@@defpoppagaming5432 oh lol
Hey guys, apologies for the poor audio mixing on this one. This was my first time recording gameplay from my Switch using a capture card. I have some fine-tuning to do with audio levels in my software for it. Hope you enjoy anyways!
I think it’s going to be 3 episodes before we get to Rannveig’s Fast
ur video just show up to me Luv you from Algeria🥰
I admire your dedication to brute-forcing the door, but you should know, items (such as the golden claw, hint hint) can be examined in your inventory
Good to know!
You gotta sneak when you use the bow, you get bonus damage that starts at x2 and can be increased with perks. This applies to melee too (in fact the bonus can get even higher with perks than bows) but “stealth archer” is probably the most common way to play the game
Aw man, killed the bandit at the lever before he could show you how it works!
*sorting inventory* “Aight, that should be good.” *20 items materialize around him* *Poppa walks away unbothered*
Don’t forget to read books you come across! Books can hide secret quests, hints, and some (usually identifiable by value) even give extra skill levels! Many are full of nonsense and a few are a bit lewd though….
Great Intro M8
Hot tip: don't pick up the junk, good rule of thumb is at least 5:1 value:weight for random stuff early and then upping to 10:1 later when you are encountering better items. In general though, anything under misc. in your inventory is usually just junk unless it is unique or very valuable.
Thanks for letting me know!
Def FATHER!?
