  i just have a couple comments its hard to follow what youre saying cuz youre adopting this silly accent "lord brrrahma".. a lot of white guys in iskcon temple do this a lot if you just read it in plain english it would be much nicer also, you might want to say a short mantra before reading, it is the vedic custom to worship first before sacred study such as "om namaha saraswati" or "om namaha veda vyasa" but yeah i tried following your narration and its just too difficult largely due to the little accent you take when reading vedic lit

  i am this far into the devi purana and thought hey maybe devala rees can just read the story to me?! well i guess ill get back to my own reading. its just too important an endeavor to miss clear pronunciation of names or to gloss over whole points i didnt understand

  Well explained. Western idealism especially Kantian philosophy says the ultimate reality ( thing in itself ).cannot be experienced or known. Upanishad says it can be after attaining that " The Knowledge " ( Bramhan)

  Comment: the masculine feminine alternating refers to Summer and Winter. The Summer is the God's time, and the Winter is the Goddess ... Consciousness and Matter take turns. Like Inanna (Geshtinanna) and Demuzi in Ancient Sumer etc. In the Winter the god is in the Underworld and the Goddess rules and in the Summer the Goddess is in the Underworld and the God rules.
