All these nasty trolls. Dillman is like 80 years old now. You missed your chance to challenge him. Have respect, or go pick on someone your own age and size.

I first learned this kata when I was 16, but I haven't done it in years, so I'm re learning it. I'm going to stick to Dillman's version of doing it, however I found out that a lot of the masters in Japan are doing it a lot differently. Also, I found out, through KZread that there are different levels to Naihanchi concerning the interpretations probably because of Seiyu Oyata. Of course in DKI we take it to the most severe level of the art which is the Dim Mak side of it, but I also found out that there is just pure locking and throws that people are teaching from the kata which is a level below the Dim Mak which is good for beginner students since they don't have to kill each other. This Kata Naihanchi literally has hundreds of techniques in it.

You show some really good bunkai from kata, but please enough of this nonsense no touch crap… it really takes away from any credibility of martial arts..and yourself. It’s not serious , it’s nonesense fake crap ….. and I would put money where my mouth is. Let’s make a wager.

The whip way punch assumes human body as a whip, but the fact body is not a whip. It has skeleton , so the whip way punch won’t work. I have been struggling with hip first or hand first . I would say hand initiate the movement but power is generated by hip.

As soon as I saw the dilman stuff integrated into taijiquan I had to pause. Taijiquan has it own Dian Xue and it’s not what dillman teachers at all. 🥵

I went to Dillman's seminars in late 80s, early 90s and studied under Rick Clark for awhile but George went off the deep end with that no touch bullshit, which really put a damper on all the good he did.

That was interesting, but it wasn't fajing as taught by most internal schools. Everything was based on muscle movement not fascia. The whipping movement that you believe disperses energy, only does that if you do it incorrectly. But even the whipping movement is not considered internal fa jing.

But wrong about what you say about rooting. It’s single root through both feet at all times Peng in the whole body. It’s better understood as surfing and sticking as you lose your balance your feet would be the last thing to move when you’re pushed.

Doesn't work in my sparring. Your uke ( the person...) is overcomitting. But, being a naha-te blackbelt for 22 years, I can tell you from master to master, that tora guchi/ mawashi uke is the real reflection of full circle blocks, that tend to follow the recieved arm back in. And that works even in sparring average boxers or WKF competioners.
