    I have had exactly the same problem, also with JBL Go3. I didn't have the option to rollback the driver so I uninstalled the one from 2022 and it automatically picked up the 2021 version which worked. Finally! Thank you very much. P.S. This thing didn't happen with the JBL PartyBox 100, only w/ the JBL Go3's I have. Thank you again.

    I know this is old video but just got my NV trolling motor setup and stumbled onto your setup. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for making the video and the setup needed to 3d print it. I already have a friend making me two of these setups. One to use and one for a spare. Can't wait til later this week to get it setup on my motor and take my kayak and try it.

    Hello, I am doing something very similar with a minn kota motor. I was wondering if you can let me know how you sized the bungee that is holding the locking lever in place?

  • @kyakfsh
    @kyakfsh2 ай бұрын

    I'm pretty sure I just used a diameter of shock cord I had laying around from other projects. The length of the cord was trial and error to tie it just tight enough to hold the lever against the stock spring, without being overly tight to hinder the steering.

    Nice video on making shielded wires. However, I have tried all sorts of shielding with essentially not improvement in satellite fix. What does work it mounting the GPS high, higher than the top mounted battery by at least 20mm and ensuring separation from other antennas. From my experience, the GPS just needs clear exposure to the sky and simply up and away from the quad itself. Plus, it is much easier and less time consuming.

    Oh wow, this looks like the problem I'm having, and it has still not been fixed in 2024. Can't seem to rollback my drivers past one 2023, I assume that I just don't have them installed. Any advice? This is a year later, so I'm not expecting an answer. Thanks for thr video though, you've helped me at least see what the problem is.

    Hello Todd, Great video do you have a actual pattern that i could trace onto a delrin block and cut out from that? I dont have access to a 3d printer. Also would you be willing to sell a couple? it would certainly cut down on my rigging it onto my Hobie. I have a Newport vessel 55lb Kayak 24" motor if that makes a difference. Thx for your time and efforts in making this video.

    Finally! Someone who mentions that compressing the motor lever will cause a bit of a problem when going in reverse. So many videos show you how to compress that lever for being able to pull up the motor in a horizontal position (and forward motion will be okay for this) but NEVER mention problems going in reverse. Thank you! Also, wish you sold that lever key…I’d buy that.

    WOW so much for plug and play. Great job. I received my new tails, almost same issue as yours because these tails are plug and play for the asian market not for the US/CAN market. I had the same WEDGE 910 bulb adapter connection instead for a 7443 adapter for the reverse light problem. I was too lazy to drill to make the hole bigger so I used electrical tape and seems ok. Yours is definitely the cleaner way to do it.

I optimized the blade and it got very thin, also the twist angles are almost all at negative degrees for example -13deg. which makes my wind turbine generate -kW any way can fix this, or is this because i messed up somewhere when following your tutorial i used a naca 6322 airfoil, thanks for the answer

    I have taped all over the door to press the sealent they use down. And I still have leaks. The build quality of the car is dreadul. Removing the door panal showed they have the black sealent all over the place and the wires were cut to make them go through the plastic. They arent sitting in top like the one in the video. Now the front doors have leaks. This has been the worst car I ever bought.

    I tried using the following command line : echo require 'tools/script_manager' > %LOCALAPPDATA%\darktable\luarc I got "access denied" echo require "tools/script_manager" > %LOCALAPPDATA%\darktable\luarc same result I checked the permissions folder. I was allowed to write and rewrite. I turned off the antivirus. But, nothing seems to work. So I am unable to copy the luarc file. It would be nice to have the Lua scripts in my darktable. There are some applications that are really useful. I know it can be done. Your help would be sooo.... appreciated. Thanks.

  • @kyakfsh
    @kyakfsh8 ай бұрын

    Try just using a text editor to create the "luarc" file in the right folder on your computer. It's a simple text file with just the single line in it that I showed in the video. Using the echo command seems like the way a programmer would do it who is used to doing everything via command line interface.

    This was an excellent explanation with several very useful little tips hidden within the demo. Thank you! For anyone else wondering where you find the change_group_leader script, it's a standard Lua script that comes with darktable. You might need to install it using the "script manager" module at the bottom left of the lighttable window.

    This is amazing and exactly what I need however I'll be using 20 gauge wire. How hard would it be to adapt this to 20gauge wire? I have a bunch of outdoor decorations that have had the insulation on the wires breakdown over the years and since I already use Powerpoles for ham radio then I might as well use the tool I already have and use those for this application, since they aren't waterproof connectors your solution is perfect!

  • @kyakfsh
    @kyakfsh8 ай бұрын

    It should be pretty easy to adapt. If you want to use the parts as is, just fill in the gap in the TPU part with RTV silicone. If you wanted a tighter fit, start with my part and tweak the wire holes until they fit your wires more closely. You'll still need to seal with RTV.

  • @hailster
    @hailster8 ай бұрын

    @@kyakfsh Thanks for the fast response. Once I receive the wire I'll try to use extra RTV and maybe tweak your design later on.
