What color is new factory transmission fluid for that ZF 948TE transmission? It appears to be clear or amber. The video didn’t show pouring the new stuff in.

Replacing the spark plugs are definitely a good idea. I changed my V6 per manufacture at 60K and 120k and immediately could tell the difference in performance both times.

Hi can you tell me how many quarts did you put in before you started the engine ? And you said that after tge temperature is 104 , you turn off the engine and open the over flow ? So how much is in tge transmission after you open the overflow?

Hi. Measure how much old oil you drained and fill with similar amount. Than start the car until transmission fluid is around 104F but no more than 113F. Keep the engine running do not turn off the engine make sure it is in Park and check overflow. You should have thin stream coming out. Remember to watch trans oil temp, the higher the temp. the more oil will be coming out of the overflow. As you can see on the end of the video there is a lot of oil coming out from the overflow because temperature was close to 113F already. I let it cool down and re checked the overflow. Good Luck!!

The awesome thing is you can get these in all wheel drive. You can't get a Civic type R or Integra type S in all wheel drive. 😈

Yes! Check overflow with the car running but please remember you need to be between 95F-113F the best fluid temp is 104F. The higher temperature the more fluid will be leaking as you can see on the video there is a lot of fluid coming out because I was already near to 113F. I let the car cool down and rechecked fluid. You need thin oil stream coming out. Good luck!!

hello, I also have an Acura rdx 2021 30000miles FWD when I turn on the drive or R from the parking lot and it gets a kick! is this normal? I didn't have this on another RDX 4WD.

Hello, It should not have any kick or jerk when going in D or R. It is hard to tell without seeing it in person. It might be your Cv axle or engine/trans mount but the car is too new with too little miles to have those issues.

You replaced external filter first. Then drained pan and then dropped pan and replaced that strainer and cleaned that gasket. Put it all back and added how much fluid? And then you warmed up and went through gears and while running went to drain overflow and nothing came out so you had to add more? Then once you did it started flowing then you plugged it. If you let the overflow open would it drain all the fluid back out? Can you check level from plug at the fill tube from above the car?

It sort of created an unbalance weight of the car and caused the roof to have a pop sound. Kind of like those wood popping sound during expand/contract in a house adjusting to ambiance temperature.

Dragy app showing 5.4 sec but my peak torque is pretty soft. There is a little left on the table with a tune. High 4 sec or low 5 can be done with this setup on 93 octane

@@josecontreras2845 yea stock can make around 6.6s I just did one pull and did 5.4sec but my tune is soft for safety. I can be aggressive on tune and make high 4 sec but like I said I did it for safety. It is a huge difference between the stock one to be honest.

Locate the jack under the transmission pan make sure you put some short peace of 2x4 or any other peace of wood. Make sure it is not under the frame of the car or lower trans mount.

How much has the mpg changed in the city and highway driving?

@@gavriel4137 Not much change to be honest, on highway got better mpg than when was stock . It all depends how I drive but city with a lot stops and goes is around 17-18mpg, highway if I drive steady 75-80mph it can do up to 25mpg. This is with light throttle driving, also tune can be adjusted for mpg when cruising.

Make sure you install it into the thread straight. If you are 100% sure it's straight then you can tighten it a little more but be careful not to over tighten it.

@@lirimhas1622 you can damage the thread so be careful. Make sure the nut is perfectly straight when you are installing it. It should go a couple turns with your fingers and then use 17mm.

Yes if you are running 38mm wasegate on this turbo or similar size, boost will creep. Please remember to use thicker pipes when you change it to 44mm. Glad I was able to help!!

Hello. I purchased Mhi stage 2 turbo with part nr: 49S89-A0000. I also upgraded intake and downpipe and intercooler. I tuned it myself with K-tuner. I will post longer video with the whole setup and all parts that I upgraded hopefully next week. That turbo upgrade is really worth it.

Wrong screen sir, pickup tube is too short. Transmission will starve for fluid.

Never had an issue with them and I change 40+ of them in the past 5 years. To starve for fluid transmission would have to be down with oil by at least 3 quarts. You can also buy one from the dealer if you feel more comfortable with but I have never had issues with those.

Hello, Nissan CVT Ns-3 new fluid from the bottle is green/blueish color but on this nissan murano customer was not doing transmission oil changes on time and this oil color turned to dark red/brown. Trans Oil should be changed every 20k-30k miles.
