Enjoyed that stroll round Manchester. Traces my trail before each City home game - don’t go to 17 pubs but certainly a couple of those. The only pub I was completely unaware of was the Seven Oaks.
This video will have real meaning in years to come as people will look back at life in 2023
I remember when Britain used to make beautiful things and they were made to last, people these days just don’t appreciate the architecture around the cities anymore, it’s a shame, the horrible fencing put up these days is so sad is that an entrance to a bandstand or something ???
Manchester City 🆚 Trafford United

I'm a Failsworth boy, born and bred...love Oldham. Lots of very fond memories!
Failsworth is a nice place, cheers.
Theirs a lot Bangladeshis in Oldham greedy scums.
thanks for the vídeo; I didn't know Bolton
Bolton was hit hard by the decline of the cotton industry and both heavy and light engineering industries. The councils of all political parties have failed miserably since. Bad management, decisions and planning of the town centre. Bad management of non European immigration. Social housing schemes have been badly managed. Bolton has many sought after residential areas and has a wealthy population aside a growing population of poorer people. Bolton is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is very well connected transport wise with the rail and motorway network. Very close to Manchester it's an ideal place to live for the commuter. Out of town shopping parks within the Borough are thriving with shoppers from all the North West visiting. The council seems to have woken up and is with others investing in the town centre building affordable housing and moving away from retail in favour of social activities. I've lived in Bolton all of my 64 years and think I've given a fair opinion. A once proud town pulling itself out of decline and hopefully investing in a better future and becoming proud once again. 😊
The situation in Bolton is the same as that of many places in the UK. You have expressed the sentiments of many local people. I hope Bolton and the UK can be great again.

In the 60s use to be a chap whose parents had a candy stall in the market hall, there candy was home made at their house on Hall street? Big place with a huge basement that they let use as gathering spot. Happy days
Sickening what has happened to this city
Sheffield is similar to Manchester in many places;
It's interesting to see new areas of London. Thank you 😊
I wish that more and more places would be shown on this channel. Thank you for watching and comment.
@@citywalkerVR Channels in London are saturated. You should specialise in northern cities. My feedback. Good work.
over priced crap sold by scammers... they offer next to nothing for stuff you are selling and over-price on what they are selling....AVOID...AVOID..... this skip..... you are better off going to a charity shop... better prices and better items..... avoid this shop run by con-artists....... this shop is run by ...turds.💩💩💩💩💩
It is known with affection as the Curry Mile - not Mill.

Leeds;beautiful place
Is it still open? No close downs?
Interesting architecture. Shopping and what else?
What a dump, hate the place.
What do you hate about it?
Shudda seen it in 1975.
Its not grand nor any other city in England comes close to london. Such a shame that manchester , liverpool and birmingham were not built up to be commanding cities. i feel sad for the north.
I agreed with you, but Manchester has the potiental to be that position in the future.
Manchester has been of the most developed cities in Europe over the past 8 years… Drone footage is better than someone just walking down the street m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zotko5Shm7XLj7w.html&pp=ygUSbWFuY2hlc3RlciBza3lsaW5l
Keep your sadness for yourself - my worse nightmare would be if Manchester ever became like London.
As this video shows, Manchester has a lot of very fine architecture. A lot of Londoners are moving to Manchester. Plenty going on and more affordable, but yes, some London "style" criminality is here unfortunately.
Always remember London’s grandeur was paid for by our industry. You were lucky you controlled the Treasury.
Parsonage Gardens looks beautiful. Manchester needs more gardens in the city centre. ♥ Also Albert Square is starting to look beautiful with the new trees. Can't wait for the City Hall to complete and the Square fully open.
the girls from Manchester ❤😍👏
I like the 'Ars Head Hotel' on the left 1:56
Stockport isn't Manchester. Just as Salford isnt Manchester. Its just near Manchester. Thanks for the walkabout 👍🏽

I love this time of yeah. The city looks so pretty! What’s the point of those cars in Cathedral Gardens? It’s not like we have a lot of public space!
