That's a shame there were so few enemies! Maybe sleeping in a shelter during the Tide messes with how enemies respawn, I haven't actually done that in my playthrough (I've only slept at the home base during a Tide). All of the enemies should've been respawned all over the map with a fresh Tide, you are correct with how you thought the game is meant to work. The only thing that doesn't get reset during a Tide is anything you might've left around a map-- anything you touch will stay wherever you left it (or at least it's supposed to). The game had an update earlier today (Friday) and they slowed down how fast time moves in-game to make it more similar to the first ITR, it's a big improvement and makes it a lot easier to get things done in a single Tide cycle. Your playthrough has been fun to watch, I hope ya get a chance to play the game more as they keep adding stuff.
Hope you can find a good balance for the audio, gunshots seem much louder than your voice
I was lowkey kinda waiting a day and a half for this
Real
The portal is where the mission bugged out for me, if you jump into it at the wrong angle the mission does not update and the case won't spawn. I killed everything at the house and just ran back and jumped into the portal again and it properly updated so I could complete it. I felt I had way more people inside the compound when I was there, maybe the ones you killed from the outside stay dead. Good to know. The tide seems a bit wonky as I slept in the safehouse by the trainyard through the tide and every enemy that was there despawned except for a single spawn.
This gameplay is so awesome, makes me really really wanna buy a vr myself!
I'm not sure what the ballistics are for slugs, but in the first one slugs were armor piercing and did less damage than buck. Might be useful to look into it for this one since you're running into more armored enemies.
Seeing the bugs you hit as a lefty with the holsters and guns...wiggling? Are the main reason I haven't bought this game yet. Here's hoping their fixed in the next update!
It might be a bug at 11:40, but certain bullet types could go through wood in the first game, so it MIGHT be intended. I've not experimented with it enough yet though so I can't say if they carried this over into ITR 2, plus it being early access and all it's impossible to say if a bug is happening or not with anything. In ITR 1, each weapon/ammo combo had a 'penetration' stat along with the different velocities and etc and different materials had their own penetration resistance, and it's possible that the assault rifle the Mimic had can go through the wood shed at that range (I'm not sure what weapon that Mimic type is using, you prolly know that better than me).
Oh dude, at 45:00, you gotta just use the shower in the barracks, it's way cheaper to heal that way. It's in the back, if you didn't see it prior (this is the first video of yours I'm watching so maybe ya visited the shower before and just forgot about it). Fun video!
You probably know by now because the video is a few days old-- In this stage of early access, the "ash" simply turns into money to use at the store. So each time ya pick it up, it's cash. ULTIMATELY though the ash will be the currency we use to upgrade special artifacts that give special attributes, and maybe something else along those lines... but that's not in the game yet of course. Right now the ash seems to be worth 8 bucks up to 88 bucks, so it can add up after a long expedition.
that shotty reminds me of the remington pump from survarium, shit was honestly more effective than most sniper rifles lol
17:06 what's the button to highlight loot?
Good content. A shame you're a lefty.
This game looks great, are there only those weird spaghetti ball creatures and shadow people in terms of enemies though?
For now yes but I am sure they are adding more.
There’s a few variants of the spaghetti balls and shadow people right now at least. There’s the normal sized and large spaghettis. Then there’s several shadow people with different weapons/ armor
Yeah it's just Mimics (the human-esque enemies) with a few different weapons, and then the Spawns (the spider-y balls of VHS tape and scissors) for now. But they'll be adding more, it's very early in the Early Access process for the devs. The most infamous enemy from the first game isn't put in yet, and some of the minor early game enemies haven't appeared, and they probably have new enemies they'll be putting in as well. They'll also be adding several more maps, and bringing back weapon cleaning from the first game, artifacts will be changed a lot and more useful, and other cool stuff.
Man I wish I could afford vr this looks like allot of fun lol 😊
The objective bugged out on the main mission. It was supposed to guide you to other places before giving the retrieve the case objective. Maybe because you went to far into the small tunnel it thought you were inside the compound already and skipped the other objectives.
Awe man for real?
@@Qloud7 This mission seems to have many break points, there is one just before actually entering the compound as well that happened to me but that one could be easily fixed by a bit of backtracking. I guess you could look up the location of the place you need to actually go or cancel the mission and redo it.
"I hate you" bang bang bang. These kids are wild in the radius
hell yeah keem em coming brother. thanks to you i now want a vr headset
same, i was literallyt researching the best pcvr headsets while watching pt 3
@@KJP1226 Ain't easy, man. Quest 3 is great and maneuverable, good controllers, battery packs, lots of alternative mounts and stuff. But your PC needs to be connected with ethernet cable, and your wifi router needs to be close to the headset and good (wifi6 ideally). Or you need a fast cable between the computer and headset anyway. The VIVE Pro 2 is also great, but big stiff cable so less maneuverable, and the controllers are AWFUL for shooters. I would have had an Index a long time ago, but they don't sell them in my country. :/
The shotgun feels like it's stock is sometimes like, too close to your body and tries to not clip, so it wigs out. Not sure if that's an in game thing, or you maybe trying to pull it too close to yourself? Maybe you should get a modular vr gunstock, that way you can at least have a physical interaction with your shoulder. No idea if that's the issue though, VR can be super finicky sometimes
Good stuff. Hope we can see the end of it.
Dude I love how this game has realistic shotguns, I hate it when games have shotguns with an unholy amount of spread.
Anyone know what headset he's got?
Valve index!
@@Qloud7 plz pin this! i know a lot of people [myself included] were wanting to know
@@Qloud7 Thanks mate, was looking into the quest 3 possibly
Keep up the good work! I love this series so far, already planning to get myself a vr set by Christmas!
Loving the new series!! 2 question though, could you store stuff in a rig then drop it off some where to kinda like make a stash or increased carrying capacity?
technically yes but i wouldnt rely on it, for now the game doesnt delete stuff that you leave in the radius (even after the tide) but it will likely get fixed soon
@@idkanymore6897 The first game never deleted stuff you left in the Radius even after a thousand Tides, I assume it'll be the same for ITR 2. But I wouldn't necessarily trust it for now, since it might be bugged, though in my game I've not had anything disappear. You should be able to leave stuff in some caches for yourself if ya like, it was a cool part of ITR 1. In the first game I'd leave cleaning equipment in some hotspots so I didn't feel the need to bring large rolls of paper with me everywhere.
@@davidchandler5432 oh yeah i forgot about that eh, for performance reasons (and to clean up loose junk) i would like tides to clean up items that have been left out for 2+ tides
I am LOVING this series so far. Makes me even more excited for your Stalker 2 playthrough at the end of this year Keeep it up!!
really enjoying the new content good job
glockazines for the glockerino
I'm pretty sure most lefties are ambidextrous but it's not due to being dropped on your head our brains are just wired different though I can't shoot with my left I just write with it lol
Dude i have the opposite situation, both of my parents are left handed and me not as much. it caused some issues with them trying to teach me how to do certain stuff
You can carry the tripod sensor in a large weapon holster. Like the 2 on that fancy backpack. Edit to add: That reload!!
Inventory management is crucial to see! Watching this series makes me want to buy VR set for my PC.
I like the before and after of organizing the inventory
Quality definetely looks alot better
what mod does the check mark for barter/craft items that shows you what it can be used for?
It’s called More Checkmarks
Oh, wow! Video quality is more than noticeable! I'm watching it on a TV to doze off and 4k here is more than welcomed!
Don't get me wrong, if it was not for editing, I'd never be able to fall asleep watching it) So that too is more than appreciated!)
I do like the inventory thingy, one of the best part of this type of games
I like that the shotgun functions like a real shotgun does instead of being a blunderbuss.
Loving this playthrough! What headset you rocking?
Valve index!
Half life 1 VR when?
Too scary 😂
Yeah, keep doing the vids like you are. If I see you sorting stuff in a way that frustrates the hell out of me, that's just more engagement, eh?
I need to know WHERE THE STASH IS!!!!
Deer-stand in the northern part of the map. Not far from that big concrete structure with all the electric anomalies
Good question what kinda headset do you need I kinda wanna play this game
I’m using the valve index but I don’t see why it wouldn’t run on something like the quest 2. Probably would have to put it in pcvr mode so that ur pc is running the game and not the headset :)
answering your question at the end, i think the whole video was enjoyable. so yeah more of anything is good imo
also the 555 on your hand is probably $$$
honestly surprised you got this game workin bro it crashes constantly for me... but hey until release I can always watch your awesome vids on it! :)
Yes early
Guys, I think he is into ITR2? He really did leave stalker after stalker 2 got delayed 😅
I mean he can play it and still enjoy stalker 2.
personally, i think the spiders could be a few times larger.
Im watching this while eating pizza
wtf i just got pizza
