Hello Everyone,

Welcome to our family Cooking Channel.

We are not professional chefs but have a love & passion for South African Indian cooking inspired by legendary women.
My dearest late Sindha Perima, Ruby Perima, Aunty Devia, my own Amma Kalaig & the greatest humanitarian my late gran, Meenambal Moodley. This channel is dedicated to the impact they have made in our lives & their selfless care and life changing difference made to many.

My loving 12 year old daughter is the videographer, the producer & the editor, so please understand that the videos are by no means professional but is done with immense passion, hard work & commitment.

Please subscribe, hit the notification bell so you are notified when a new video is uploaded, kindly like, share & comment on the videos so we too can share more exciting videos & our little cooking secrets “ top tips!”

Happy cooking.

Tried your recipe and it was an absolute hit! It was SO Durban which I miss terribly, especially the curries. This was quintessential bunny chow that transported us from New Zealand to SA for a couple of hours and brought gushing comments from our guests. Thank you, Perima!

I do'nt like this dish as the rice tastes all mushy to me instead of rice that is cooked the proper way so that it is all fluffy and separate.

Watching from Scotland. There’s a new place in Glasgow called Jeera which serves Bunny Chow and so many good reviews. I’m sure it’ll start catching on here too and I’m going to put your video on Facebook so that so many SA people can make it at home too xxx
