Tried your recipe and it was an absolute hit! It was SO Durban which I miss terribly, especially the curries. This was quintessential bunny chow that transported us from New Zealand to SA for a couple of hours and brought gushing comments from our guests. Thank you, Perima!
I do'nt like this dish as the rice tastes all mushy to me instead of rice that is cooked the proper way so that it is all fluffy and separate.

I NEVER comment on recipes but I tried this today & it was great!!! Paired with naan it almost tasted like butter chicken! Best thing is i had all the ingredients in my cupboard!!! I tweaked the flour & milk & didnt add much nandos sauces but it still was amazing. Definitely subscribing!!🎉🎉🎉

What herb r u using ? Sum PPL use clovers, my friend had a redfish ting leaf herb he was a Tamil guy so he knew the real stuff & had it growing in his garden.
