I wouldn’t wish this pain upon anyone. Especially losing her in such a traumatic way and getting that unexpected phone call. I have PTSD from the whole situation. I’ve actually cried about her 3 times this week & told my husband I need help. I keep having flashbacks of the phone call and then when I saw her laying on the table realizing she wasn’t going to wake up. It’s an experience no child should have to endure. Thank you so much for the “virtual hug” 💕
How long were they in nicu?
They were in the NICU for 4 weeks and sent home on oxygen for 6 weeks! 🙈

Hello Brice I have a question that I hope you can answer or if anyone can answer. I’ve tried to join the Air National Guard last year in Mississippi but got permanently disqualified because I had eye surgery to fix retinal holes I had in my eye. I just recently moved to Texas and I was trying to see would it be worth it to try to reapply in Texas?

I was trying to join Air Reserve but when I was in contact with a recruiter I told her I have polycystic ovary syndrome and she basically told me that would disqualify me from joining. She said she was 99% sure it would. I looked into it a lot online through others and it said it depends on what you have. But I am insulin resistant and I’m technically prescribed “metformin” even tho I don’t really take it. I stopped pursuing any farther but I still feel unsure whether that’s true or not. She also told me no one takes medication at bmt but I already know that part is not true. I just wish I knew I was afraid to pursue farther and get turned down already knowing most people in my life would not support it anyway
You must have documentation that you’re off meds with no issues for min 6 months. That is what I was told

My understanding is they just recently changed the authorization. The only bariatric surgery that is waiverable is the laproscopic gastric sleeve. Bypass and band are not waiverable at this time.

I’ve been trying to enlist into USAF since February now and I FINALLY was approved to go to meps and went yesterday actually unfortunately I am currently temporarily DQ because of previous anemia and vitamin D deficiency. As of right now I am no longer suffering from either of those conditions but I still need “waivers” for them. They sent my case to the SG and currently waiting to hear back that I am approved. Trying to keep a positive mindset but I can’t help but worry I might not be able to join.

I’m currently on my fiancés account but, I have experienced the same! 3 months pregnant right now, I was literally having no symptoms but something told me to take a pregnancy test so I did, came back positive 😢🥺 I was so happy then I started spotting, and then now I am having so much morning sickness!! Always puking and everything 😭😭 Don’t know if I’m having twins but yeah..

I have anxiety due to trauma and I genuinely believe the air force may help a lot with that stress. Having a goal and an outlet and a place to feel more secure would be perfect, especially when it's something I'm heavily interested in. If anyone has an answer for the question I'm about to ask though, that would be appreciated. I'm on medication and I know the usual standards for being off of medication and such, however I've stopped taking it cold turkey before and had zero issues. Does anyone know a fast way to get accepted in my situation?

It was just for a stepping stone for future career goals. Never planned on staying in more than 1 enlistment.
Hello I been watching a lot of these videos so I can try to understand the medical waiver process I was born with bracial plexus an started physicals at a young age for years I don’t go anymore but I still work on my strength an mobility in my right arm I’ve always wanted to join the military and be a pilot since I was Young I’m still in high school an will graduate in a few weeks I started talking to a navy recruiter an a army recruiter so I can have options Ik each branch has a certain medical criteria my army recruiter thinks it’s possible for me an doesn’t see a problem I told him I lift body weight at work at a senior home I’m just really scared of hearing no but watching this video made feel a lot better❤❤
