    It happens to the best of us. Glad you are sharing. The other thing is that our police department has a place you can sell/trade items. You give the person the address and they meet at a specific location. The police department has cameras too. But that’s an issue only if you’re selling locally.

  • @countrymamamusings7701
    @countrymamamusings770126 күн бұрын

    Yes. Meeting at the police/sheriff dept. is a safe place to exchange goods. I usually set up exchanges at such locations, but with larger items, we meet at the farm; not anymore

    Just found this project! I am new to crochet (November) and I am completely obsessed! I really enjoy learning new stitches and I am so excited to make this. I had no idea that such a marvelous thing known as a crochet along even existed until recently! One question, you recommend using a 5mm hook, but my yarn suggests a 5.5mm which should I use? Thank yo! Looking forward to each and every block!

    Hello there! I'm so glad you've fallen in love with the art of crochet! I'm sure you'll enjoy these squares 😀 As for the question about the hook size, the pattern itself calls for the 5.0 Size H crochet hook. I would stay with the 5.0 if you have one on hand. Of course, the afghan squares will still come out nicely with a 5.5 Size I hook, but will be a bit larger in size 😀 either way, you're good!

    Hey Alicia. A note: I’m an adv crocheter & your added comments re: if you’re Lhanded was slightly confusing! Why did you add that &. If one is LH shouldn’t they be watching the LH vid & not this R-handed one? Teaching beginners, I know how easily confused things can get. Maybe I missed the reason you threw that in? Love your vids on the 63! Natural Teacher!

    Valid point. I added that extra snippet because I'm left handed and I learned early on that my popcorn were on the wrong side. As I crochet these tutorial s.left handed and THEN edit that footage using special fippity floppity editing magic it makes me look right handed 😉 ... This was just an oddity in which I needed to push that reminder to either / or left/right.. 😊

    On Average the Dealership Labor Rates are $131.00 per Hour. The Grease Monkey has to supply his own Tools 💲and doesn't get paid Enough and his or her take-home pay doesn't get them home anymore IMO.

    And, sadly, the tech only sees a small portion of that hourly rate; something customers don’t know or understand. Yet, they bear 100% of the wear and tear on their bodies; the bloody knuckles, the burns, etc …and, yes, have to provide their own tools for the privilege… 😔

    The time it pays to work on newer vehicles and how non-repair friendly they are just isn't worth the pay the book time says it takes to do. Getting mechanic level pay for technician level work.
