I love them both, but I must confess I prefer the sound of the older stuff, seemed very warm, but for the modern stuff somewhat heavier, I suppose the furys put out more therefore each surved their purpose!

The difference is minor I would say. The difference in tones is mostly due to the mixing techniques and Yngwie maxing out the gain 😆

Thanks! Nope, that's double tracking. I don't ever suggest using a harmonizer unless you really want that sound :)

@@jaymentzer7220 traditionally you would only play the main melody. Yngwie usually has the keyboard player play the harmonies. But that's only my preference, I hate the sound of a harmonizer and I'd rather play without it than with it.

It depends on the taste : hs3 maintains the strat single-coil character, the Seymour Duncan fury is full of harmonics, sounds more like a real Humbucker - superstrat sound .
Sounds very similar… I’d vote for the Fury if pressed. Incredible playing as always Stefon! Love your vids… always entertaining!

Any tips for keeping a Strat trem in tune? I can only set mine up to either stay in tune for bends or stay in tune for divebombs but not be able to do both.

Yeah, that's just how it is with floating trems :) cant remember exactly which guitarist did that, but when bending, you can place your palm on the trem to make sure its not moving in either direction and it won't go out of tune that way
