Hello, I usually just walk as most accommodations are near by, but if you happen to be staying far from the bus stop, have a lot of luggage or traveling with children, a taxi would be your best as there currently is no Uber in Playa ( just make sure the meter is running when you enter the taxi ). Having so many issues paying for my train ticket. The website is returning an error code 99. I tried so many times and still not working. Any idea on how to pay for this online?
Hi, Not sure if this is going to help as a friend from Germany had issues purchasing tickets as well. Did you try the standard fixes; try on computer and phone, also on different search engines as well as trying to purchase tickets on one of the other sites we had listed in the comments. I’m actually flying out tomorrow, first time visiting. What’s a good budget for 5 days? Btw I’m staying at the Marriott courtyard.
For our budget we would usually set aside about $25USD/day per person for food. As far as alcohol it is pretty inexpensive for local beers, so depending on how much you and your party consume this will increase the budget slightly. Anything on the beach from Restaurants to souvenirs will generally be more expensive, as you move further from the beach even by a block or 2 you will find cheaper prices and if you happen to travel to the city center you will most likely find the biggest bargains. Do you need to book into the lounge with a priority pass or do you just show up on the day?
Just show up that day, show them your priority pass card and usually your boarding pass and or passport and walk on in. And remember depending on what time of day you are going there could be a line. Safe Travels!

Hello, thank you for your comment, at the beginning of the video we listed average prices for a 3 course meal, domestic beer, soda and water so you have a general idea of the prices in Mazatlán. We also provided some restaurant menus as well as the prices for the aquarium and as far as the prices for items on the beach and taxis we found there to be a wide range and most if not all were negotiable. Hello, for restaurants it depends on a lot of factors but I would say on average for a 3 course meal at a mid-priced restaurant for 2 would be about 250-325 MAD or about 25-32.50 USD. If you add drinks it would be slightly more ( Almost all the restaurants in the Medina did not serve alcohol ) And most of the restaurants served us complimentary tea and a small dessert at the end of the meal. For Taxis this can vary on the time of day and the traffic but no more than 50 MAD or 5 USD for the small light blue taxis but most metered rides around town will cost you less. Always make sure they run the meter when you first get into the taxi. Safe Travels!

Your video was helpful. i will have a long wait between flights in the early hours of the morning. Do you know if there is catering 24 hours a day? The web site seems to indicate that there is a limit to the times that catering is available but this may only be relevant to hot food.
Hello and thank you, We have been to this lounge during the day, in the evening and the earliest has been about 6:45 in the morning and at that time they had a breakfast selections in a warm buffet. The have food 24 hours but the warm buffet food might be limited overnight

From Cancun Airport (CUN) to Playa Del Carmen turistica Generally the busses run between 7:30 and 2:30 and run less frequently in the late night hours. And from Playa Del Carmen touristica to Cancun (CUN) Generally the busses run between 3:00 and 21:55 and run less frequently in the early morning hours. But always check on the ADO website for exact times and any changes in the schedule. I hope this helps

Hello, We did not use the bus routes , for local traveling we walked or used taxis ( only to and from train stations and airport ). And for traveling between cities the trains were very reasonably priced, in addition with bullet trains between some cities it will save you precious time. with that being said there are some cites that can only be accessed by bus or car.

Hi, Yes you still need to purchase tickets if you want to walk around the outside of the castle and the grounds I strongly recommend purchasing your tickets prior to travel so you will not have to wait in long queues for tickets. Hi, Here is what it states on their website; I hope it helps, Safe Travels! You can change your tickets date, schedule or destination 30 minutes before your bus departure. Also if the ticket was bought through our web or mobile applications you can change your ticket 60 minutes after its purchase. You must provide the original ticket and an official identification that matches the ticket-holders name. Changes can only be done at the ticket office . In case the new ticket has a higher fare, you must pay the correspondent fare difference. And for cancellations You can cancel your ticket 60 minutes before your departure at any ticket office. You must provide the original ticket and an official identification that matches the ticket-holders name.

Thank you!! Yes we took the 434 bus to Pena ( I believe the 3rd stop ) I would suggest going there first as it seems to draw the largest crowds. Afterwords we walked to Moorish Castle ( short walk maybe 10 min ) Then walked down the path back to town ( about 30 min ) then 10 min walk to Quinta Da Regaleira, if you don't have that much time or don't feel like walking you can take the 434 bus back to town and transfer to the 435 or even better a tuk tuk ( they are fairly inexpensive ).
