  Just a note - there are multiple routes of the Camino de Santiago. The one you walked is the Camino Frances. I have also done the Portuguese, Norte and Primitivo routes. I would highly recommend the Norte if you like the coast and beaches, and Primitivo if you like mountains. The Camino is always a special walk, no matter which route you take!

  Thanks for taking the time and effort to film and narrate your expedition. I love the relationship between you and your brother. And you had me cracking up so many times, especially the game show called where is .that pass? I have summitted Mount Whitney five times, and had planned to do the JMT, but that plan fell through when I got a job offer in my career. I should have done the hike and postponed the start of my career 😮

  Great video. The water and flows were very low for Westwater. Was this in September or last summer? I have done Westwater 2x on someone elses raft and doing my first trip as the caption in a few weeks. We did it at 10,,500 last summer. The left rock on Funnel was underwater. The wave at the entrance of the Room of Doom was about 15 feet high and almost ended up going over. Great job doing Skull 2X. The determination was appreciated and the filming was great.

  We did it in October 2020. The cfs was about 2,550 so very very different conditions than your trip. Sounds like fun!

  Well, the trend continues. I'm very disappointed that you didn't include a Bible. The whole reason for a pilgrimage is to be closer to God. The Camino is not a race or endurance contest or a way to make friends. It's a spiritual awakening. I guess I'm the last one on earth that feels that way. What a shame.

  Ii really don't think you had food poisoning. I think it was Altitude sickness. BTW never eat the Yak meat! and the cheese is from the yaks so there you go wrong choice of food.

  yeah, my floor seat was great and honestly it was much better in person. the 360 camera makes the stage look much farther away than it feels in real life.

  Yeah, the biggest flaw with this video is that I didn't a good enough job explaining the relationship between calorie burn/heart rate and the exercise rating shown in the video. Here's a secret though, if you pause at 1:25, it shows our actual recorded average calories burned on the left and average heart rate on the right for many of the games in the video. And the exercise ratings on the high scores screen roughly correspond to: 5 Exercise Rating: ~10+ calories/minute (like biking/rowing) 4 Exercise Rating: ~9 calories/minute (like hiking/jogging) 3 Exercise Rating: ~8 calories/minute (like dancing/aerobics) 2 Exercise Rating: ~7 calories/minute (like kayaking/walking) 1 Exercise Rating: ~6 calories/minute (like yoga/volleyball) And, yes, this video is in desperate need of an update, but it was VERY time consuming to make with all the mixed reality shooting we had to do.

  So far, I really like your documentary. I can tell that it is a good one. I'm a little confused about your mileage day one and two. Until you leave TM at LC . 23 miles total. That is correct if you stayed on the JMT and camped at the backpacking camp. I'm extremely accurate about true mileage, section mileage, moving speed, overall speed, and resting time. I realized that if you don't pause your GPS when you stop moving, it keeps adding mileage to your total distance. My girlfriend always had 3 to 4 miles than me at the end of our 20 mile average days. We got into arguments about it. I pause mine, she let hers run. She wiggles around so much that the satellites counted her wiggles as mileage 😂. I'm not making this up. We have the same GARMIN GPS. My mileage from HI to CR to Sunrise Lakes is 15.1 miles. Strenuous 1st day. 5.3 to TM 1.7 to LCTH, 10.8 to UL Lake. Just 2.6 below DP Day 2. Mileage varies alot depending on how it is measured. Harrison and Nat Geo maps are pretty darn accurate. Thanks I'm going to watch the rest of it
