  Good thing that tail number is not legal (60% contrast to the colour it’s on) and legible, or you’re be getting an official envelope in your mailbox… not that I doubt your flying skills or that you were ahead of the machine throughout the manoeuvre

  Are you aware that helicopters are exempt from the 500 ft rule that applies to airplanes? Maybe you had something else in mind. As far as I know this is perfectly legal If not I’d be grateful if you could point out what I’m missing. Thanks!

  Our planting setup was just like that 30 years ago. 4 row 7000 with a John Deere G. I miss that distinctive 2 cylinder pop going up and down the hills. Now we’re pulling two 24 row units with Rowtrac quads. I can’t imagine what our ancestors would say seeing the progression in technology.

  To be honest that is not a helicopter. That is a dangerous piece of crap. I flew helicopters commercialy for over 20 years. I have flown 6 different types but I have over 5K hours in the Bell UH-1H. Very reliable and safe. All my colleagues feel the same. Stay away from that piece of junk.

  Watch a guy from Davenport Landing while surfing back in the 70s it was awesome the guy really put on a show. He really did some fancy work along the cliff (where brussel sprouts grow) look like he was doing off floaters!

  This was a little while ago so I can’t remember for sure on the wind but I’d say it was like 10mph. It was pretty lightweight because only me in there. I have found that keeping airspeed above etl is critical for these maneuvers
