  He quedado sorprendida!! Viñas en chiloé! 💕 tierra maravillosa! Uvas con sabor a mar!! Que seguramente darán un vino místico, acunado por la bruma chilota y sus leyendas que recalan en el corazón de quien vive y visita esta hermosa tierra!

  Espero no traiga a Chiloé los AGROTÓXICOS ni la mentalidad productiva usados en la producción de vinos de la zona central... esperamos que este gusto personal que usted se dio no traiga perjuicios ambientales al territorio.

  Ya lo hicieron. Fijate ese monocultivo intensivo. La fertilización es una incógnita en este registro. Y el control biologico también. Si agrega fertilizantes sintéticos se sigue en la logica extractivista hasta matar la microbiología y acabar con los micronutrientes.

  I just tried the 2012, even after 12 hours of slow-ox the wine has no oxidation, drinking windows recommended by the major critics are way off, I suspect the 2012 wont really hit its stride until 2023. As you say in this video for the 2011, while being a big wine, everything is in balance, the 15% alcohol is very well integrated. The oak is sweet but not in the way, it comes in carefully at the finish with delicate notes of vanilla and butterscotch.

  My mom and I just tried your wine. She called it “light and happy.” I completely agree. It gives a clean, happy flavor blast with a silkiness and roundness perhaps due to the French oak. Excellent value. There also seems to be a goodness/generosity of spirit in the making of the wine. That’s just what I sense. Beyond flavor, there is a lightness, a buoyancy.

  I just love the Purple Angel Carmenere...and love the concept of Fen Shue ...the Gregorian chants and the Angels...what a winning combination.... A very big congratulation to Aurelio Montes and in the future if am lucky enough to go visit Chile I will be there at Montes vineyard to say hello !!
