Unfortunately, tours to places like Bar Del Pi are spoiling them. Bar Del Pi is small with limited seating upstairs and limited seating upstairs and if a group of 10 tourists go upstairs or downstairs, your time there will be ruined as the tour guides not only speak over the general din of the tourists but stand around invading the space of others sitting upstairs (or downstairs). The groups are hearded in with the guide acting like they own the place but sounding bored and disinterested. I have been to Bar Del Pi three ti,es and at three different times of the year and each time a tour turned up. Ruined it.

Agur is mostly use to say 'bye' but it works like a greeting, it can be used as a hello or a good bye. A good way to say it is GERO ARTE, that means 'until after', 'see you later'. Sometimes you'll hear AIO! as well. If you want to emphasize the farewell is very common to hear AGUR BAI. Trivia: agur becomes from Latin augurium. Euskara lived with common Latin and gives form to old Castilian that became Spanish.

Hi Brian! Yes, you can find paella made with other proteins such as beef, chicken, and rabbit. Veggie-studded paella is also great! Just keep in mind that some places prepare their different paellas using seafood stock. Be sure to double-check with the waiter!

I have heard that truly authentic Paella does not contain fish or shellfish. Is this true? If so that would be great because I am allergic to shellfish.
