Thank you for these recipes, I think I will give these a go for when the Grandchildren come over, as they are always hungry.
Really enjoyed watching you put your spice blends together. Wow they are big sweet potatoes. Thank you for sharing these with us.
I have just found your channel a week ago, and I must say your soup and toasted cheese looks so delicious. I am going now to find your video on your spice blends. Thankyou from Wollongong N.S.W.
Looks delicious 🤩
This KZread channel just feels like home. I get so excited to see the message pop up that theres a new episode. Absolutely love this. Please do an episode of freezing veggies. We get alot and im trying to go into Zero waste as much as possible
YUM!!
😍🤤🤤🤤🤤
It looks delicious! Mmmmm that bread! Your family is so lucky to have you! Thank you.,
Love that you don’t waste anything!
I love Sizzler's Cheese Toast. Thanks!!!!
Thank you, Selena for this wonderful soup recipe! I have lots of frozen tomatoes in my freezer from last year’s garden. This is the perfect way to use them. Tomato soup is my husband’s favorite, so he’ll be very happy I watched your amazing video! Have a great weekend! 🌺
Love sweet potatoes
This was my first time finding your channel. What brand is that marvelous food processor? It is so ingenious!
I am new to your channel, but I am enjoying watching your video's so much. You mentioned that you can freeze the pasta dough, can I ask how long for, and dose it need to be room temp before working the dough? Thanks again for awesome video's :)
Thanks so much! Yes you can freeze your dough. I usually make the pasta and cut into the desired shape (eg. Fettuccini) then freeze the batch in a freezer bag- it’s good for 3-6 months. when you cook it just boil your water as usual then put the frozen pasta straight in- no need to thaw. If you want to freeze the block of dough and roll your desired shape at a later date, it will need to be room temp to work with. I hope this clarifies- and welcome 🤗
I am going to make up a couple cake mixes and give the a chance. And I am sure it will be about perfect.
Our orange trees had the best fruit production when the boys were young and regularly peed on them when outside playing. Worth a try if you haven’t already.
Yummm and beautiful
Great video, I'm new to your channel and also a fellow Aussie homesteder. Is that a Thermomix?
Love you hints and clear videos. Can I ask what is the make of your dehydrator. Thank you God Bless you
Great tips. Moving your camera is really irritating and noisy,
Great ideas.
Hi Selena, which kitchen wholesaler do you use to buy your herbs from plz? And what brand is your little grinder?
Great idea with lining the bread tin. I also noticed that you lined your grill tray with foil and placed it in the bottom of the oven - what a great idea💡 !!! And all that bread looks amazing
Just came across your channel- is that a food processor/ thermal cooker that your using?
Hi there,, l grate my own cheese as well, l put 1 tbsp of corn starch and gently toss and that prevents sticking too.
I just found your channel, great tips on savng money. I'm curious about the food processor, what brand is it?
Just found you. Thanks on the tips. Great motivation.
I have tried dehydrating oranges but found them extremely bitter so I gave up
So, I have Bird's Original Custard Powder and from what I can find, I should be able to substitute it for Foster Clarks Custard Powder. I live in the US. Am I correct? Just found your channel and think your did a great video.
Yes that should be fine- I don’t always use the same brand of custard powder- any should be good.
Thanks for another wonderful video, Selena! Great money saving tips!
Glad it was helpful!
Having everything made in advance and at the ready is key. More and more people are looking to throw money at everything that they don't want to do. Here in the US we would pay people to blow our nose if they could keep up with service as needed. Meal Delivery Services are making money because people don't want to cook. Not that they don;t have time (that is what they say to justify the cost). But they could save a ton of money if they just put in a bit of effort. Every Generation tries to make things easier for the next Generation, then they say "these kids don't even know how good they've got it!" Well...teach the skills to make things easier without busting the bank! More over- Show them how easy it can be done, and explain all of the reasons why it is better to do it yourself. It's our fault that kids are the way that they are, we are not teaching them better. Change the world- one kid at a time!
Oh great idea❤.
Thank you! 😊
Please do an episode on dehydrating...I'm getting one soon I want to have a go at dehydrating stuff, I have my own lemon and mango trees. Would love to do that and veggies.
I have an episode coming soon dedicated to dehydrating
How long do you leave the yoghurt to go for?
My instant Pot has a yogurt button, I just use this, and it runs for 8 hours.
You are making amazing videos❤❤❤❤ I noticed your KZread channel and you're doing great! I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are excellent but still it is not delivering the right audience due to SEO problems. Focusing on your SEO to get a big fanbase would be best. I have some ideas on how to boost your audience and engagement. Would you like to talk about it for a while? Let's talk and I'll share my strategies with you.
It's not a milkshake it's a horchata
I invested in some extra large glass dishes with clip on lids (from ikea) and they’re perfect for pasta bake, lasagna etc.
How many will each tray feed please
Thank you as I am on Holiday I will try this. Thanks for sharing!
Just discoverd your channel. Very helpful thank you.
I’m just new to your videos, love your kitchen! Will try your salts. I planted different basil’s around the perimeter of all my garden beds (7), so I had to much to keep up with 😂 I had lemon basil, omg the scent is heavenly!, I also have chocolate mint and it’s heavenly also. I laughed when you said oregano, you say it the same way as I do, and it’s the American pronunciation, I follow a lot of Americans on KZread also, I even say cilantro 😂 I’m in Nsw.
Looks yummy
Lol you are forgiven Serena its pronunced Sheela...im very excited to try the aromat replacement. Ive been working on cleaner eating which means alot of home made mixes. Thank you for this.
Why don't you blend all the salt? I think I missed your explanation
You can, it’s just my personal preference to keep the texture of my finished product with some super fine and some granular. I have blended all the salt in the past and just prefer it this way.
Love your videos ❤
Thank you so much
You make it look so easy . I may try this. Great!
Awesome recipes Selena
Oh I will try them today. My family is so fussy. It will be great to get rid of the commercial products. You never really know what all is in them
You make me want to get chickens again 🤭😬. Have you tried white oil on your mandarin tree? It cleaned our black soot off really well and so far it hasn't returned. Also we wait until after the first frost to pick our mandarins...they are sweet after a frost.
I just ruined a whole batch of fresh blueberries because the recipe in the description calls for 1 TABLESPOON of salt! It should be 1 TEASPOON!
